I rented a 6 way blade from Cat with a 259 Skid steer, disaster. The Cat Skid steer was too light and threw the track off two times in one hour. Cat admitted the 257 was too light and sent me a 279. The blade is a very piece of iron. Hats off to Cat for admitting their mistake and giving me free rental, first class service

Why didn't you show what the Implement control switches for the float I managed to get it turned on but it was completely by accident and I still don't know what I did to turn it on

Is it not good for spreading dirt and stone with around a building I was thinking of demoing one I know they won’t cut as good as a Dozer ?

It works fine if u know what u r doing guys. Its to darn small at least make it wider than the tracks.

Its a bucket that will cut hard pack clay and dirt. Without diving in or jumping out of the ground... The harder the ground gets, the better it works. The Scraper Bucket has its own website with videos on it.

It kills me to watch him initially dig to deep then slowly climb at the end of the cut. Not very skilled.

Hi guys, I'm sorry, but a skid steer is a sorry excuse for a dozer... that is unless you hook up to a Scraper Bucket. Then you will be able to doze clay just like everybody wants.

I assure you... The Scraper Bucket is no toy. It is designed and engineered for expert operators only.

Bob Trailers no mate dozer blading with a proper dozer blade or 4-1 dozer blade is for expert operators, scraper bucket is almost fail proof and more or less for basic to good operators looking for an easier way to grade
