Ok this crane is a really cool toy! I am surprised that Cody was so gentle with the it and didn't jump and grab the rope! I think you enjoyed it more but you know, sometimes the food provider deserves having some fun too!😸😸

Cody looks at you like now what you up to now hooman lol. He is a smart boy knowing how to get the food. I like at 2:57 he figured out how to hold the crane arm still so he could get the meat easier. The end he had to see for himself if there was any more lol.

He learned quickly indeed.... In the end (and off camera) he immediately used his paw to grab the food and wasn't bothered by the noise at all.

Not a fan of this way to feed Cody treats. I was surprised he didn't use his paws more to knock the food chunks out of the crane. I liked the video for Cody and for his attentive behavior to overcome the crane and get his food chunks. 🎉❤

It was a bit of a challenge indeed but in the end he was totally fine with the crane. Now we serve him his treats on a plate again :)

Ohhhhhh!!!!! Hello hello my super Cody cat!!! Yesterday I was sure to have sent to you my comment on pc but it seems that something went wrong because I couldn't find it today! (fortunatelly I found my other 2 comments about our Fred cat and you and the one with the cat alarm clock)!!! I caught a really bad cold ( not coronavirus thanks God), with high fever and caugh and so my dear Cody cat I delayed so much to answer to you! Wow!!! This video with the food crane is simply amazing....Through this video -so well caught - one can see how smart Cody cat is.....At the first time he was examining "this new thing" and his eyes were spinning like beautiful marbles to understand what was happening ...with his chunk and he eat it! In the second crane attempt Cody helps himself with his paw to put down the chunk and in the last phase the furry pal told us that he got it and that for him is a piece of cake!!!! I'm sure that from now the food crane will be one of the favourite ...food-toys for our superb ginger!!!! Adorable Humans you've always so great ideas!!!! Kisses!!!!!

My only concern is his whiskers. I think the opening for the cat's face is too narrow and could bend or harm his whiskers. I've heard that cats need a wide bowl or dish that doesn't bend their whiskers; I think I saw this on Jackson Galaxy's KZfaq channel. :)

I don't think bending or harming the whiskers will happen that soon, but it's true it can be annoying for a cat to get food from a bowl that's too small. That's why we serve Cody's food on a plate and why we only use big water bowls. With the crane Cody quickly figured out it was better to get the chunk with his paw first and then eat it from the ground :)

While I love your channel and your pets...it is most UNKIND to frustrate your pet over food, by letting him smell it then taking it away. He diesn't understand your game. Give the food first time please.

Cat behaviorists actually say it's the opposite: a cat will get happier once it has to do something for its food. That's why food puzzles are recommended.
