there can be many reason a cat wags it tail. in this case the cat was displaying all the behavior i mentioned before, so im pretty confident that it was not annoyed. it was having fun with its owner there are plenty of documented cases where cats vigorously wag their tails while being affectionate with their owners.

Sometimes when the ears are back it’s not a sign that they are upset but that paired with the tail wag leads me to believe it’s upset Edit: omg it’s been a year, I have stated multiple times that this was my opinion, not 100% a fact and that I was just giving my input based on years of raising and caring for cats. Last time I edited this I was very stressed out about a lot at once and was feeling defensive. All I mean to say is that this isn’t an issue to me so I do not see a point in arguing with anyone.
