I love this video, i watch it every day. Rigley is such a bossy little guy. I love his meow and it sounds like he's saying WHY NOT MOM???? and he's consistently keeping those words and voice level throughout the argument. He's beautiful!

My darling ex-feral sweetheart and I only say"hello" to each other at this point. We have been with each other only a short while and maybe by now could have been having a heart-to-heart conversation, but she's had a lot to overcome,b like hundreds of fleas and flea bites, sores, getting over her fear of me and my family, but all of that is now in the past and I'm expecting a full biography of her life from her in the very near future. In the meantime, I swear she answers me with "hello" when I'm in the living room and she's in the kitchen, either sitting on the refrigerator or microwave, which she sat on all the time before we got rid of all her ailments; now, maybe not so much, because now her favorite spot is my lap or laps belonging to her family, who adore her, as do I. She is so gorgeous. No words could adequately describe the beauty and sweet nature of my darling ex-feral cat!

As many animals are, in some ways (but certainly not all) on a level with human children, it's not surprising. Mind you, we had a dog who would sometimes look at me like I was the child. She was very intelligent, though, and picked up over 100 words and phrases without us even having to try to teach her.

My cats lick my face, rub their face on my face and purr in my ear in the morning to let me know it's feeding time. Feeding time usually runs between 4 -5 in the morning.
