Poor D’Art! He can’t win!! One minute he’s a creep, next he is the boy we all love. He has been thru so much, if not for your excellent care, he would no longer be with us. Hugs and kisses D’Art! We love you ❤️

I once had a cat who stared at me, too. I adopted him when he was about 15 years old. Once he settled in (I was his 4th owner) and saw that I fed my cats at a certain time (5:00 pm) every day, he began to take up a position somewhere in my office at 3:00 pm and sit and stared at me until I fed him. He wouldn't move a muscle unless I got up. Then he'd follow me. To say it was unnerving is putting mildly. I never realized how hard it is to have anyone staring at you constantly. To discourage it, I tried setting an alarm that went off at 5:00, hoping that, once he knew the alarm would go off, he would stop feeling the need to watch me. I honestly think he wanted to be sure I wouldn't forget to feed him/them. I guess his general opinion of people was pretty low at that point. Plus, I believe I was the first owner that gave him canned food. He went nuts the first time I gave it to him. He would even sneak up onto the counter to lick the can, which I had to stop because I worried he'd cut his tongue on the edge. So I had to clean out the can immediately and put it in recycling right away. So he started trying to steal the other cats' food. One of those cats (who was only a kitten at the time) still leaves a bit of food in his dish every night. BTW, it's really interesting having a cat with such a past. I know his first owner died and, based on the way he behaved whenever I felt ill, I wondered if he, my cat, was alone with this first owner when it happened. Because, whenever I laid down on the couch, he was all over me-- he'd even come up and sniff my mouth and sit on my chest. And, despite the fact that he was the last cat that I adopted, the other three also began doing the same thing even though they'd never done it before he came. I found that interesting.

How are Princess and Pamuk doing? Hope they're feeling better... 🙏 Great video as always! ❤
