I answer probaby the most asked question we get.... Should you cruise in a catamaran or a monohull? It's honestly a very tough question to answer but I have a lot of experience on both types of boats and give the best insight as I can! I also answer all of our patron's question! Having been a subscriber since your Doodle Pups and Amanda days, I have so enjoyed viewing several years of your life adventures! Cried when you had to give up on that beautiful “Naughty Dogs” sailboat and when you lost each of “your Boys” and Dad. So looking forward to you finally getting your new cat too!

Lithium Ion batteries (most commonly used in cars, toys, vape devices, etc.) and LiFePo4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) which are mostly used for solar energy storage, RV's, boats and such are different chemistries. Almost all of the lithium battery fires you hear about on the news are from Li-ion type. The LiFePo4, Li-po for short, are MUCH more stable.

You need a wide beam to carry a flying bridge which is great to have, especially in clear coastal waters. that means a cat or a tri. Cats also make excellent power boats.

You need to look at sailing with the Wynn. They covered the registration not in the us and insurance with a lawyer.

Fire is always a hazard on a boat. That being said, LiFePo4 chemistry is not as hazardous or flammable as other lithium chemistries!!!

What do you think about DJI products? Reason who I ask is I have an older mimo and love it for blogging and pics. However I ran into a support issue with them. They were about to welch on their warranty claiming I didn't buy their extended warranty when the product was broken in shipping. I had to get my attorney involved before they replaced it. Do you have Any horror stories like this with DJI?

@30:50 An ICE providing power to an inverter to provide power to a charge controller to charge a battery is the least efficient way of doing things...

It's funny how few of your viewers seem to understand the difference in chemistry of rechargeable batteries. If you manage to catch modern batteries in current BEVs on fire you've really screwed up big time. I'd be more concerned about any gasoline being on my boat.
