The Wooded Beardsman

6 жыл бұрын

Now the real work begins as out efforts have paid out in doubles. Now we have to keep the fire stoked to keep our meat from spoiling and consume enough of it to keep our energy levels and weight up. A big relief has come over camp, but now we need to devise ways to stay on top of the game with a catch n cook bear and catch n cook fish.

@Anonymous Anonymous You're so dense I don't even know what to say to you. It's like we live in different worlds. Have you ever traveled down a road before? There is a huge chance to find roadkill, more or less depending where you live. I can easily believe he just found a roadkill young black bear on the road, during that time of year and location.

Difference is we eat herbivores mostly.. ive eaten crocodile, zebra, all types of african antelope (dear or whatever you call it in your country) snake, turtle, porcupine, warthog, 100s of bird species, insects, and the list goes on, but i wont put my mouth on beats meat! Bear, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, tiger, etc. maybe im closed minded (not really i ate more stuff than most people do in their lives) but i just cant imagine eating bear meat. Please tell me, is it good? And what can you compare it to?

A plate of fried buttholes. I think you can get that in southeast Asia. I mean you can get that here in Poland too, but you gotta go to some hunter theme restaurant that probably costs as much as some west Europe places and you will pay accordingly for a plate of buttholes.

here's some advice on smoking your fish. with larger fish you should filet it. but if you dont; split the back down both sides of the back bone make those side cuts an inch or so away from there, and cut small twigs to hold it open. you can then hang it from the mouth using an a frame with a pole at the top. Not experienced with bear or beaver, but as a kid my dad and I would spend 4-5 days in the woods with a small axe, saw, knife, and a .22 rifle. We built lean to's, bow drills, and ate everything from rabbits, birds and squirrels, and one time lucked up and got a feral hog. good times!

You can eat most animals, as long as they are not poisonous. However, you need to make sure that the bear is really well done, because raw bear(just like raw pork btw) can contain trichina and if you catch those worst case scenario is that they infest your heart muscle which can be lethal. I mean, there are animals that are specifically bred to make for a good meal but that doesn´t mean something you can´t find in a store isn´t edible. In fact, with meat you are pretty safe most of the time, at least compared to mushrooms, berries and plants that you really need to know because they might be poisonous.

Hunt, gather, and scavenge were all ways that people made it long enough to leave descendants; you and me. MOST people don't understand that bears are excellent for eating and must be removed or they end up overpopulated and at risk of starvation - of the entire population. On banner years, bears end up dead as roadkill or in garbage bins, or worse, so to keep the population down and away from human habitation, hunting them is ideal. That way, the animals do not go to waste or jeopardizing the entire population.* *To see the full uncensored processing of the bear go to Jeremy's Chanel:* kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kNdln7pqp56pmoU.html *The Wooded Beardsman Adobo Spice* 2 table spoons salt 1 table spoon paprika 2 teaspoons pepper 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon chilli powder (optional - I don't add this) *NEW VIEWERS Check out our 5 DAY SURVIVAL SERIES: * ******kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hLxppZects2dYH0.html* *MORE GREAT VIDEOS!* Red Fox: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qpmHd5SSypvPe2g.html Porcupine: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gL1pm7qBsuDXm2g.html Beaver: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ep1_ga6os5m5oKs.html Bear: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qNmfqqepzdK0aYE.html Catfish: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iLyRaMJ7mpm-oYU.html Foraging a Meal: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nLBkasWcxsq3Yp8.html Eating Groundhog: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/icxgrdymnsCRpY0.html Duck and More: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oZORpNqq0tO5Z6M.html Yabbies/Crawfish: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/lb9ll9Wjz6iYdH0.html Muskrat: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aM6pmLqbnri8Z5s.html Ice Fishing Trout: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y7KorJikq6ylaGw.html Canada Goose: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/at6GnsyA3LenqqM.html Hare and Grouse: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eKx-Z7eAuseVqpc.html Black Squirrel: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gb2paMVmtJbShqc.html Cooking on a Rock: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q65-aZOg3NWqn3k.html

Get the feeling animal nuts just go from video to video, leaving hate comments and dislikes without even watching, just to make themselves feel important.... Wish youtube's algorithm would just push their comments to the bottom of every video, they add no real value anyway.

glad you found that Bear and saved all that food ! I hope to can alot of Bear this fall I set my game camera up for 5 days and picked it up yesterday and I have 734 pictures of Black Bear on it and only 4 deer I was hopeing to get a nice buck on it but the bears was every where they even rubbed the small hickory I had my camera strapped to so much they knocked my camera down to the ground .but what I thought at a glance was a deer trail turned out to be a bear trail.its called a butt out tool lol it found one in my christmas stocking a few years ago I carry a small piece of para cord and just tie the gut off most times.that Bear will make you several great tasty stews with those taters and carrots and onions and celery thrown in the pot .my Momma makes a killer stew from Black Bear and Bear grease is the best shortining you can find for making Biscuits ,it makes them light and fluffy.

I grew up in the city side of Los Angeles but as a kid I lived in Colorado, even if I still lived in the city, I plan and do whatever it takes to go out in the woods so don make excuses, its better to go by yourself or with inexperienced people to feel howś its like, and maybe do research on what KZfaqrs do. The first step is Understand and view prospects, the rest steps you will realize yourself

How do other predatory animals are keeping their hunted meat from other wildlife? They don't. Wildlife will get attracted and the dominant creature will keep the prey. And since most of the time humans are the dominant species due to their use of technology they will keep the prey.

There are often parts of an animal that you don´t really want to eat, unless you are really super short on food, especially some of the entrails. And stinky and gross entrails make for one of the best catfish baits out there. Also, I´d say that maybe a few grams of beaver in exchange for several pounds of fish is a rather good trade.
