Join me as I interview John Myatt the world-renowned art forger while he goes to Venice to replicate several breath taking pieces done by Claude Monet back in the 1900's
I have the amazing opportunity to sit down and interview John, we talk about his life, what lead him to become a fine art forger, different Art styles he can do, and what he has planned for the future.
This was an amazing experience for me for me as I have been following Johns work for a long time now, so it was fantastic to sit down with him and have a chat.

@@MWalkerWilliams Curious, how the forger can be more talented than the original artist, in that, they adapt to the different styles of who they are studying rather than relying on lazy, behavioural patterns. This reminds me of the playfully inventive 1973 Orson Welles Film , F FOR FAKE, which challenges the whole notion of 'expert' observations...disheartening to hear, though, artists, galleries or philistines talk about paintings in terms of money...any transaction will feel cheap & tawdry like a form of prostitution...:"T 'was ever thus" as Oliver Hardy would swoon!!

@philiphalpenny9761 the forger is more talented in the sense that he can paint like several masters where as they could only paint like themselves.

The barrister, prison officer and police who bought and comissioned John Myatt's work realised he was being used by the person who was selling the forged art as genuine, and was honest about what he did, and there was the Con Man Case Files programmes stated he was not earning the money the con man behind it was making.
