Thanks for the awesome tips, I just lost a nice LM bass today on a swim bait, he spit the hook right at the bank! Got it on film though, need to go back and try some other methods as well.

(From bank) Texas rig….So, are you casting as far off bank as possible in the summer? Instead of paralleling the bank?

This is from personal experience this summer and my texas rig bites have been paralleling of the bank and it was a numbers bite and some 3's mixed in . I fish a shallow place so summer bassin has to be parallels and casting at whatever structure is around and wherever the windblown bank is . We're looking for the grass mats and shade in the heat . I will start throwing a giant worm towards the middle than fan casting out and hopefully ill get a pb bite that way . They were saying to work it slowly dragging off bottom and it'll help your mental map of the place you fish .
