XG is a Japanese group. They trained under YG facilities when preparing for debut, check "XG Dance Performance #1" and you'll see they're using YG practice room. But YG doesn't have anything to do with them, YG made a statement about it. But their SWAG is definitely YG STYLE. Btw if you don't know, HIKARU from Kep1er trained with them. They're trainees from AVEX.

Hm!! Okay so they trained under YG but they are not affiliated? Interesting, I wouldn't have thought they were a Japanese group with how many people suggested them! I don't get many requests like that.

@@anthonytoo yeah, before they debut there's a rumour surrounding that XGALX is a new project collaboration between YG Japan and AVEX but before they debut YG release a statement that they're not affiliated with the group.

@@anthonytoo XG is the project of Simon Jakops, a 2nd gen kpop idol, member of DMNT (Dalmatian). XG's choreo team is korean, composers are US based and company behind is XGALX (Jakops') which is a spawn of AVEX Japan. He said the group is an "international" girl group, they've been training since 2017 (mostly in KR), They all speak Jap,Kor,Eng and they'll be releasing songs in all languages.

XG is a group that was created through systematic hard work through global projects for over 5 years. The group consists of Japanese members who practiced in Korea with the K-pop system and set global goals with English songs. XG Executive Producer Jakops (Junho Park) debuted as a singer in Korea and has been engaged in Kpop as a producer and composer for over 13 years. His father is Korean, his mother is Japanese, he is of Japanese nationality and was born in the United States. XG's song composition and group concept were all produced by him. The songs on 'Tippy Toess' are well thought out, addictive and stylish. It looks like an evolved version of Kpop. Making a song in English is an important point. In that sense, XG group will be a group that can receive enough stimulation for K-pop.

XG - doesn't even feel like a debut their confidence and swag just carries everything. Some people are saying the song is too boring but I think the simplicity is letting them shine plus they aren't a K-Pop group so they don't necessarily have to go for that sound and it is very global friendly if that's what they're aiming for. Kim WooSeok - always slaps, he feels like one of the most consistent male soloist for me. Plus he can do any concept. I hope his music gets more attention but he's also becoming quite popular as an actor. (Now I want a pet lamb 🥹) Billie - lmao, I feel like this song is inescapable still can't decide if I like it or hate it but that rap verse goes hard.

honestly very glad to see that you liked “Ven Para” in terms of weeekly being “fit” to do this concept, cause i felt like i was in the minority when I said i enjoyed it. Many many many people viewed this comeback and said things like “Weeekly changed too quickly” or “Weeekly doesnt fit this concept” and while I wasn’t expecting this change either, I enjoyed it and felt they fit the concept very very well. Shiuld they have done a smoother transition? maybe but this definitely seemed to get people to talk about Weeekly a lot more since “Holiday Party” wasn’t as big as they wanted.

April 22, 2022, producer JAKOPS said on Instagram Live, "I've been working on the XG project for 4years and my base was mostly in Japan" they were training in Japan.‬ (They were training at「AVEX ARTIST ACADEMY HEAD OFFICE STUDIO」in JAPAN ＊XG video: (The Beginning ,The Journey) YGX appears momentarily, but most of it is a training scene at 「AVEX ARTIST ACADEMY HEAD OFFICE STUDIO」) The MV producer and choreographer are Korean and were shot in South Korea. The first video was uploaded in February 2022. Given that, they may have been in South Korea for preparation in 2021. I think Simon's four years mean either the four years from 2017 to 2021. The MV dance performance uses YGX,but YGEX(AVEX +YG JAPAN, it is only for YG artists promotion in Japan.) with that partnership they are able to use YGX. YGX is a dance studio, so anyone can use.

Anthony! Please listen to Cravity’s b sides. I wasn’t a fan for a long time because I didn’t love their title tracks. But after Gas Pedal I listened to their albums and WOW. They’re amazing. They’re kinda my favorite group now 😅. I feel so bad that I didn’t get into them sooner!

You should check out Hot Issue!! They're a 7-member girl group under S2 Entertainment. It's a newer company, but it was founded by a ex CEO of JYP & Cube Entertainment. Their debut song was GRATATA which I thought was really good. Their only comeback so far is ICONS which really solidified me being a fan of them. Icons legit has one of the best pre-chorus and bridges I've ever heard. THE VOCALS & HARMONIES ARE CRAZZZZY! I hope you can check them out soon! I'm also glad you got to reacting to Cravity! I've listened to their previous stuff and this song was like instant playlist for me too. I loved adrenaline a lot.

RV - only my second listen as I did not like the song at all the first time. It's a bit better this time but I just can't imagine when I'm going to listen to it. Video is gorgeous though CRAVITY - I hadn't heard this. I really like it! I also struggle getting into Cravity this might be my favorite song that I've heard. That chorus goes 🎶 Cherry Bullet - my two favorite title tracks from them are 'Hands Up' and 'Love So Sweet' definitely recommend if you're looking to check them out more.

Rocket Punch - this song got me on the second listen! I think I was distracted the first time. This is a reason I like watching reactions it allows me to really listen again. Weeekly - they killed this concept. Is this my favorite weeekly song? Definitely not. but I think it's good to show this kind of versatility early on. If this is not one of the top groups in the next couple of years I don't even know what's going on. ASTRO Moonbin&Sanha - sexy Priest Exorcist concept? Sign me up 😁. Honestly this song is everything but their pre-release song Ghost Town I have listened to it every single day since it came out. It's such a vibe, definitely voting for you to check this project out. PS I agree with all the songs you said it gives you the vibes of plus add in a bit of CIX - Jungle.

For Red velvet they sampled Bach- Air on g string which is the classical music you hear, in the mv there is so many paintings referenced in each scene, for example hieronymus bosch, the garden of earthly delights is one.
