In this episode of the Outsiders, Noah and his dad embark on a steelhead catching mission. They haven't been fishing for a month and a half, but finally make their return. They hope to catch at least one fish a piece, but soon find out they get more than they bargained for. Mark goes 5/5 and Noah goes 8/8, one of which includes an ULTRA RARE fish for a Lake Erie tributary. Make sure to watch the whole video to see what Noah catches!

Dude!! Sick Coho man the kype on that boy is crazy! I hope there’s a coho hen in that creek somewhere. Must have been a fun day with the little creek setup. I need to get a mini pin some day

Noah, I believe that twitch jigs, fished independently of the drift rig, would select for the coho in the creek. Steelhead don't like to chase moving jigs, whereas coho will go out of their way to nail them. Try casting twitch jigs into backwater sections of your rivers, and retrieving them fairly agressively with exagerated twitches. It works for coho here in BC.. We like purple/ pink/orange/chartruese combinations. Brown trout also like jigs fished this way, and they prefer chartruese or black.....
