Well done but get it back quicker. Try and keep it in the water. You monstered that fish way too much at the end. It wasn't near ready and you were very lucky it didn't get off. Many salmon are lost in moments like that. If it wants to run, let it run. There's a balance between sport and what's best for the fish. Your next one won't be as much of a panic.

@masterbaits1740 yes, that's what I just said. The amount of times I hear old Fisher men saying it's not like it used to be, aye there's a reason, the old guys ruined it for us by keeping all the fish they caught. And now they cry about there being no fish anymore. The old boys are thick as fuck.
