I went to a small K-8 Lutheran school. We did have a gym, but it served as everything. Cafeteria, auditorium, band classroom, etc. there were no Locker rooms or bleachers, or anywhere for spectators. Seeing the lions always makes me smile because we were the panthers.

I hear what you’re saying! We would have 100+ students at a time in the gym each class at a time kindergarten thru and including 5th grade…..you definitely have to speak from your diaphragm to be heard. During good weather we would split up during classes, also teaching health with F-18 fighter jets flying over our fields (we live by a naval jet pilot training base). So normal speaking voice was not gonna cut it. I have had a principal ask why we were so loud. I invited her to come out a try teaching what I had to cover inorder to meet with the state requirements for SOL testing. Don’t worry about naysayers, you guys are doing a fantastic job! Love what you do cause I identify!❤

I am an old woman, but I also went to a Christian school from K through 8th grade, and we did not have a gym for most of those years. I was in 7th grade, and I remember what a huge deal it was when we were finally financially able to add on to the school: a gym, locker rooms, and a big kitchen. So I understand how exciting this is for all of you guys! Cassie, I'm praying for your friend. I also have a friend who was recently diagnosed with brain tumors, and this was right after losing her husband to heart disease. So I ask for prayer for her. She is a Christian, and she says she thinks God still has work for her to do here, but she is very much open to whatever His will is for her life. And could I please request prayer for my daughter and son-in-law, who are headed for a divorce? I keep praying that God will heal their marriage. They had their first initial court appointment today, called a "case management conference." Miraculously (in my opinion) before it got started, they were all in the courtroom and the lights went out. For no reason! No storms or anything. New building. And the backup generator did not kick in. So they were all sent home. I think that was God answering prayer. But He still needs to work on their hearts. It's a sad situation. Very hard on the children. And they are both Christians, at least profess to be. Thanks for listening, if anyone has read this far! ❤🙏🙏🙏❤

Yes. A small greenhouse would be great for Mazzy. Start small and if her interest grows, so can the greenhouse. What a great hobby it would be for her.

Maybe get Mazzy a house proof container set up for starting chives. Chives take "a while", can/ should be scatter sown, and live indoors year 'round pretty well. There is nothing like being able to trim the tops and put them on your own dinner plate.

I just found out that the school my Grandson teaches at (1st year teacher) in Arizona, does not have a gym. When too hot they have PE in a small classroom. All Glory belongs to God above! Mazzie, I drop my pots to. I just pick them up, find new soil and replant if plant isn't broken. Worked in plant nursery over 25 yrs. Can't stand to throw away cutting when trimming in yard, just replant and make more plants. Enjoy, it's a life time of fun if you like it. Good luck❤️

You have a couple of planters in front of your house. Why not get some annual flowers seeds for Mazzy to start in the shop and put her in charge of the planters? It’s a small project that’s very doable for a beginning gardener.

Hi Walkers, because I was so much like Mazzie growing up, I like the outdoors but not much of a farm girl. Loved flowers planting seeds, watching them grow, and the beauty. Always wanted a greenhouse. Zinnias are great so easy to grow. After they grow, you can save the heads after they dry out. You will have seeds for years to come.

If she planted Wild Flowers...she will need a big pot with lots of soil as soon as they sprout. Wild flowers need lots of room to grow.

Loved the video. Mazzy is going to have so much fun growing things! I use to give my kids some beans to put in a glass with some paper towel and they’d have to keep it damp and they could watch the bean seed sprout and grow. When it was time we’d plant it outside. You should get Mazzy one of those small greenhouses and set it up on one side of the house on the cement. They are plastic 4x4 or 6x6 I’m not sure but quite small.
