What a wonderful walk down memory lane! I enjoy hearing couples stories. I dated my husband for only a month & ½. We were only friends b4 then. Got married on a year to the day we met. After having cancer, you don't wait when you know it's right. 28 years later we are still happily married. God has been gracious to us!❤

💕 I love “how we met” stories. I met my husband at a “50’s Dance” …. We all dressed up for the era. I wore my Dad’s white shirt with sleeves rolled up , jeans cuffed , saddle shoes and a high ponytail. So long ago…1973. Sadly he passed away when he was only 52. I do have a prayer request…for my grandson who has CF …. He needs to have a lung clean out and prayers for him and the medical team are so appreciated. Thanking in advance 🙏🏻🌻

What a beautiful story! Y'all are a very beautiful family! I have a prayer request 🙏 My daughter is pregnant with her first baby. My first grandson 💙 I'm so happy 😊 Last Thursday she had an ultrasound and he has enlarged tubes in his brain. Can everyone pray that he's born healthy in January 2023. I believe that prayer goes a very long way. We could use as much prayer possible. The doctors say worst case scenario is that he'll have bad headaches and/or seizures. I just don't wish this poor lil guy being born with pain and not understanding any of it. Thank y'all so much in advance. I'll keep y'all up on our situation. God Bless Y'all 😊 ❤️

Broom hockey (ball) is a legitimate game, my husband played on a company team against other companies, in 1980- through the mid 1990s. Used to be a great social event. Was a really big league in the community I lived in.

Look at you young'uns. My hubby and I met at college. We had volleyball class and two evenings per week photography class. We just celebrated our 45th Anniversary last December 2nd.

He's very active and go go go so slowing him down is hard. I'm probably more afraid because of that than anything. Great story of how you met. I do have a prayer request, I am starting chemo today for the second time. The cancer went away for about a year and a half but now it's back. I have chemo every 3 weeks for a total of six treatments. Please pray this time it does not come back.

I met my husband at my sisters wedding and we got married the next year. I from Calif and he from Canada! I have been in Canada ever since. We had 33 blessed years until the Lord took him home. Never in all the world did I figure that I'd find someone else with a cat named jingles! My jingles was named at the shelter he came from. They called him Mr jingles. He is a black and white tuxedo cat. Good natured cat gets along great with the dogs. Sometimes I think he thinks he's a dog.

The way you guys meet is a great story. I tell my kids and grandkids our story. I met my husband through a friend . And went on our first date and he said let's go to Kentucky and get married. We went as far to call his boss and told him that he won't be at work because we were going to get married. Three days later I got my engagement ring. And got married 3 months later and is still together. That happened 36 years ago.
