Cate Blanchett is back on the red carpet at the 77th Cannes Film Festival with "Rumours", a dark comedy which poking fun at the G7, from directors Guy Maddin and the Johnson brothers. Speaking to FRANCE 24’s Juliette Montilly, the US actress talks about “omnicrisis” and what makes the film “partly a satire, partly a Scooby Doo episode”. Will you find her nod to Neil Young?

She technically is both, as father Blanchett was a Texan Native and she was born after 1967, her American Citizenship would have been granted automatically since her dad was a Navy CPO whether or not they registered her with CRBA. Unless she renounced her US Citizenship....that's another story
