The supercharged Caterham reached staggering speeds on these tight and twisty roads and went airborne many times. The team's effort and Vincent's fervor beyond limits made this race epic.

Wow - that's some serious driving. Having driven a Caterham I think I'd be far happier on a smooth surface with less worry about suspension wear/damage etc. He must've finished that drive with some sore wrists (and butt)! Thanks for sharing! Dave :-)

I find watching this as relaxing as mika hakkinen as a passenger when James May did rally practice in a Finnish forest. Very exciting, and well done.

Tremendous car control, and brave driving and im saying that as a rally driver myself, years ago a mk2 escort and recently a peugeot 1900gti both in tarmac spec. Great video, well done sir.

In France, there's the GT category in Rally, which means, Porsche GT3, Lotus Elise, some BMWs (135i). factory cars actually are allowed, so the Caterham R300 can compete too. In the majority of countries, only Group N , WRC, R2, R3, S2000 cars are allowed, that's why you don't see many Caterhams rallying !

here in ireland i have often seen darrian t9's rallying with wrc's s2000 metro 6r4 and mark 2 escorts. i would love to see them on the narrow tarmac rally stages here

Are we supposed to take your comment seriously? This ride is lightning fast, 99% of the car's potential was used here, and several testing runs were set until he achieved this chrono. Cheers

The video speed is 100% original speed. The R600 speed is misleading :)
