Hello my Beautiful People! Welcome back! Last week I shared a very fun piece called Fluff Cloud with you all. In that video I added color to some 3 Dimensional ridges that I created out of Lightweight Spackling. In today's video I will show you exactly how I created the ridges as well as a few other fun tricks! I hope you enjoy and are inspired to pick up your palette knife and play with some very fun texture! Let's get started!

Colors
Golden
- Prussian Blue
Pebeo Studio Acrylics
- Iridescent Green Blue
Amsterdam
- Bronze

- Fast N Final Lightweight Spackling
- Ranger Texture Paste Opaque Crackle
- Ranger Distress Mica Spray Antique Bronze
To create the colored spackling I simply added some straight paint to the Spackling. I did not add anything else.
The Crackle paste really surprised me! A little goes a long way! I think it may have worked more how I wanted if the Spackling had been more dry before I applied the Crackle paste.
I love the Mica Spray! Not only did it add sparkle, but it also added a lovely hint of color to the background that was really fun.
All that being said, this is not my favorite piece. The warm bronze color didn't really work with the cooler Prussian Blue and Iridescent Green Blue, in my opinion. I do love the ridges, and I hope that how I created them will be easy for you to follow.

Ok Mina you did it!! I haven't painted since my mom passed away in January. You have actually got me excited to get back to it. I already ordered my spackle paste and Im going to try it. I will show you my final results sometime next week.😮😊🤗

Oh my goodness Mina, I LOVE that crackle paste and how when drying it pulls up like little petals and creates many designs. The colors are great, still looks like lavender & green icing. The little painting looks so cute by the Goddess diety like statues. So many things to do with that paste. If it would adhere to fired clay you could sculpt designs on your pottery. That texture just looks way too much fun and addicting. Can you imagine the fun of sculpting a wall. Omg!!😊😊🎉😅

The end result was interesting. I saw the caterpillars before you mentioned them. They look like they're playing in the ground. Some earthy colors added to the crackles would probably exaggerate that. I'm curious to see where you take this next. Super fun.
