It was great fun targeting catfish in the city of gold, Johannesburg. I was targeting these catfish on light tackle using deep diving lures. I was having some great success With my Salmo Hornet 45 but unfortunately I lost it to a fish. I managed to catch another catfish on a lipless crankbait but it didn't perform nearly as well as the Salmo lure did. This destination was the best catfishing on my month long fishing tour across South Africa.
