Sorry for the late reply. This is on private property and is not accessible to the public. There are a number of fishing destinations close to Joberg maybe check out a local Facebook fishing page. Unfortunately I don't give out the location of the fishing spots out of respect for the other anglers who fish there. I recommend that you ask at your local fishing tackle shop. I haven't fished right at the mouth, so I'm not too sure. Look out for bays and reefs that get good current during the pushing tide (ideally early morning/ late afternoon). Also ask some of the local fishermen, they should have some good current spots. Enjoy the trip and I hope you catch a monster or two.

You can certainly use a 10 foot grinder setup as long as its a spinning set up. 30lb braid works well to get better distance with your cast. Nice to see another comment from you. I am glad you are enjoying the videos....😀

I'm glad you enjoyed it...😀 It's a little trick from the commercial guys to maximize their catches. Because most of these fish move in shoals the skipper will turn the boat that it moves in a gradual circle and keep it moving so that there is still movement on the other lures/bungies....this way you can maximize your catches from the shoal. Hey. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Hopefully the tides work for you. A high tide at sunrise is ideal. Look for reef that has lots of current flowing over it. There are a number of bays in the area that are perfect. The waves push over the reef into the bay causing strong current. That is where you want to throw lures. For sharks find deep holes and put in a big bait and get ready to hold on....I hope that helps. In terms of rods my light tackle rod is a Diawa excellor and the heavy is an Assasin Spin XH. I'd recommend a reel with a good drag that matches each rod. 30lb braid on the light 50lb on the heavy.
