The fun part about this song is it is very much a James Bond title track style of music. Which fits so well with the game.

The MV also works as a Bond opening, which makes it kind of neat that it goes at the END of the expansion...

Phantom Liberty has got to be one of the most, if not THE most, heartbreaking story I´ve experienced in gaming. This song was literally perfect for how it ended. Dawid Podsiadlo is incredible

Man, that says something with your profile picture being from Red Dead. I think Songbird's story hits closer to home than a lot of other games because it seems like this kind of exploitation is just around the corner. Our late stage capitalist societies/governments are already exploiting our minds and bodies, but PL's story makes it obvious they aren't willing to stop there and they have to come for our souls too.

Yeah, this song is likely pretty good by itself, but hearing it for the first time, at the end credits, after completing the expansion.. hits WAAAAY differently than just blindly listing to it as it adds SOOO much context.

I cant lie. I was brought to tears multiple times during the campaign. I was having real difficulty making certain choices. Choices I even regretted later on. NO OTHER game has ever done that. Even the greats such as Mass Effect did not cause such a mix of powerful emotions. Then this song occurs in the credits and everything just comes flooding to the surface.

For me this song came right after the ending where you have a really tense confrontation where you have to kill a friend to save another friend in a dark rainy night standoff. Very perfect ending song

Bro... the whole Cyberpunk lore is just a genius f*cking idea. The game + DLC, the anime, they're all good. I personally like all the stories, soundtrack, gameplay, EVERYTHING. There's almost no cons in the whole Cyberpunk franchise. And even if there are some, they're just minor things. Idk how anyone can hate these masterpieces.
@Hukka55Ай бұрын
Cyberpunk is an old idea, which can be traced back to scifi stories written back in the 1960's already. And yes, it is genius. I am superbly happy that they made this game with so much respect to the 90s tabletop roleplaying game, and stayed true to the source material, adding beautifully to it. I am not the biggest fan of the anime, and how they changed up some things, like the reflex boosters making you move faster (which they do not do - they just make your reflexes faster). But all in all, forgiving that, I liked it a lot.

This video is kinda late now so maybe you won't read the comment as much but... Dawid stuff is really good. Like his songs on cyberpunk is used in the launch both time, one on the base game and one on Phantom Liberty. Both of them are really good plus the ending song for the anime is also by him.
