Microdosing does have it's place for treating a multitude of health issues. The key is standardised does and working with a professional or in the case of psychadelics knowing dosages, strains, and being educated and safe. Like with any pharmaceutical drug, it’s not for everyone. I'm really interested in the field of psychedelics and it's role as mental health treatment, along with ketamine now showing promising results. Again, these should all be utilised under a health professional. We have ketamine trials and treatment here in Aus already and it's showing incredible results for severe mental health issues 🥰

I microdosed for about 6 months but also while seeing a psychiatrist and on a low dose of antidepressants. It's not something you're suppose to free ball in substitution. If you do it safely and while monitored it can have benefits. But I would never suggest it to someone who doesn't have years of experience tripping

If you can’t understand the issue with the context of her discussing this with her child audience, you need to lower your dose as much as she does. I don't know what she's got but I don't think that's weird. Someone who is in pain doesn't need to fit into your expectations. Before I had treatment for my scoliosis, people didn't even see I had such a severe case because I had a good posture and kept quiet about my pain. And after I had my first child I started having troubles with Sciatica and my mom told me she also had this after her first child. This is not a constant pain but shoots randomly. It doesn't come every 6-weeks or so, but sometimes I have a week of pain where I can't even walk and then it disappears for a while. So yeah I wouldn't assume things about her health status :)

Yes!!! I struggled with PTSD and bipolar for 13 years. With intentional, responsible psychedelic use over the course of about 5 years, I have almost no symptoms remaining. Would no longer qualify for the diagnoses. It is a powerful tool but we also must respect it for what it is: it can be an extremely violent experience. You must be able to sit with your discomfort, face it head on and surrender to the journey. Also, all things can be abused... I've known several people who "microdosed" an entire hit of L every day and completely lost touch with reality. This is what education and harm reduction are sooooo important.

There is a lot of studies about the benefits of mushrooms etc, but it's far from definite and a very bad idea to promote to other people blindly when you don't even know who you're talking to 😖😖 personally never have tried, but I've heard the trippers talking at Uni in the past and they're alllllllllll just like Catherine about it tbh

There are many benefits to mushrooms, especially for those affected by depression, anxiety, ptsd, etc, but they should be taken responsibly or in a clinical setting, not in this sort of cultish environment Dolores has fostered

But what about the people like me who actually benefit from traditional psychiatric medicine? She should be voicing that traditional meds may not have worked for her and that she found something that does but instead she’s here telling people it’s “poison”. It’s a very harmful viewpoint to have in my opinion.

@@alw1111adrienne this! And if I may add, for some(including myself), shrooms do not help with mental health and actually have the opposite affect, making it worse. Antidepressants have never made my symptoms worse, it just either worked or didn’t. Promoting shrooms instead of antidepressants is fucking dangerous for other people like me.
