I watched the movie because I like Simu and Sterling. And I love anything related to space. Movie wasn’t great. Don’t have high expectations.

I saw a TikTok and a mom was saying her child was in the top 3 to be chosen for the role. The kid was experienced in broadway and had been singing for a while, but was beat by North for casting. I definitely believe they’re trying to clean up the PR nightmare by saying North was already casted and “she didn’t take a talented child’s place”.

Having abusive parents myself (also very abnormal religious beliefs), they do sound genuine in the moment. It's not until you've been out of it long enough that you realise how genuine someone can sound because they truly believe the lies they are spouting. The truth is, they are incapable of love, even though they think they do love their children. That's the nature of narcissistic abuse. The person genuinely believes what they are saying in the moment, but they're nothing more than fleeting feelings. I'm glad that Chad's therapist has made sure he realises he was brainwashed. I hope that in time, his therapist helps him to see the extent of Ruby's manipulation so he can protect himself & look out for his siblings.
