Ten years ago I went through what I presume is exactly the same, dear one. Found at very early stages, radical abdominal surgery, followed by chemo and for me, a month of radiation. Your doctors will mitigate long term side effects, if any. You are precious and you are much loved. You can do this and will be with us all a long time.

She is a master class in communicating with poise and clarity. And that mention of William's support...this is PR excellence

Interesting that not one leaf or branch moves. Not one insect or bird fly past in the background or in a tree. No movement at all by anything other than the person speaking. Who is in perfect focus with he bench yet the background is abnormally blurry even though it is relatively close.

She'll be fine, this is preventative treatment, there were cancer cells in whatever was taken out, doesn't mean she has cancer now. Been there and got the t-shirt!!

My guess is they knew from the start but obviously wanted this to remain private, but a leak from the hospital forced an announcement. I imagine the best care is available, no waiting list. Really hope she makes a speedy recovery and is back to family/public life soon!

My heart goes out to Kate, and also everyone else who is going through this trial, this is so important that someone who is at the centre of our state along with her father in law (the king) have shared their diagnosis and have let us into their challenging therapy. It's important for everyone to realise it is in living memory that cancer was an ailment that was considered dirty and shameful and was frequently left off the death certificate. The more publicity this gets the better, we are curing more and more cancers, so lets keep pushing forward and put this ailment behind us.

My father also got preventive chemotherapy. The cancerous texture surgically removed and he got several courses of chemotherapy. He later regained his health and five years have already passed. It will be the same for the princess. Believe me, if her cancer was in bad situation, she wouldn't be able to have surgery. I'm sure she will be fine and come back better than before☺️♥️

my mother got colon cancer at 40 years old she underwent major surgery had a colostomy bag after that she was young i was 16 with younger brother and sister it was very difficult at the time she lived untill the age of 60 when it returned and went to the liver i think treatment is far more advanced now i now get screened every 2 years in portugal because of family history so if you do or dont have a family history ask your gp for exames i wish the family well i hope she recovers and goes on to high light the importance of effective fast treatment for all regards Robert
