Catherine's co-stars deserve awards for staying in character as she carries on. I'd never have such self-restraint in her presence.

OMG as my dad nears 95, he’s TOTALLY turning into this. A mess of contradictions from one minute to the next, with hilarious consequences. We recently had the “...home health worker’s stealing stuff/making phone calls when she thinks I ain’t lookin’...” conversation. And, of course, the woman before this one “...was PERFECT... never had ONE BAD THING to say about her...” (in reality he’d daily complained about HER, as well). And by the end of the rant, it’s somehow MY FAULT! LMAO

I laugh and cry with you. It's the same with my dad, especially the bit where she tells him to put the fire on and then complains "IM ROASTING"

It would be great to have nan back on our screens again. The only problem is you couldn't put half the things she says in these sketches. The same goes for Gavin & Stacey, Car share, Bottom etc. It's a pity that people have become too sensitive these days when it comes to comedy.

It’s so strange how the elderly start to believe they’re being robbed. When my nan was in her 90s, she was SURE the young lady helping her at home was going to steal her costume jewellery. I’m talking about cheap plastic bead necklaces and crappy old brooches. I understand they probably meant a lot to her, and that’s fine, but she was sure they would be nicked if she didn’t hide them ☹️ it makes you wonder what goes on in their brains that they all start thinking that way when they’re really old.
