I used to make these kinds of pies all of the time in the summer, when I was a kid. It was as simple as mixing jello with cool whip, then putting it in a graham cracker crust, then freeze it. I used to put fresh strawberries in the ones with strawberry jello. Real fruit, I thought that was so fancy!

You'll NEVER want to eat another store bought Key Lime pie again! This recipe has so much lime flavor! I added lime zest to the filling & to top it off, also about 2 tsp of juice from the lime. Perfect & so easy! Next I'm trying it with Orange & then Lemon.

I have a friend who is lactose intolerant and always ends up missing out on desserts. If I used a coconut yogurt or something she could have this since cool whip is non dairy! Thank you, I’ll definitely be trying this out

Finally made this! Its in the fridge for two hours and counting. I was the one who commented that I came on to double check how much water to use and realized I needed two of the yogurt, not one lol. I made this for Memorial Day. Followed the exact instructions. It was so easy, refreshing and delicious. Made it with my homemade Nilla Wafer crust. My family requested a lemon version of this ice box pie for July 4th. Thanks again, Catherine ! : )

Catherine i have made this many times; but the recipe I originally got had you add one packet of unflavored Jello with the Jello packet and water and i also add some fresh lime zest for added flavor. Its often given as a gift and everyone loves it. Also did it with Pineapple and Coconut and its like a Pina Collada. lol You can buy the Pineapple and Coconut Yogurt at Target and Kroger. I also use various crusts and its a good recipe to experiment with especially in the Summer.. Jello makes Pineapple Jello I buy it mostly at Walmart.

With all the varied flavors of jello out there (Jolly Rancher has some incredible ones, and Royal has a pineapple jello that is to die for!), I’m betting this could work with any flavor matching yogurt. Now you’re making me have to go to the market. 😜 I’m seeing a lot of no bake pies in my immediate future😬

I love this channel. I found it over a week ago I made the lemon poke cake for my grandson graduation and it was a hit. I don’t really bake but she goes step by step and it’s so very helpful. I have my granddaughter and my son’s mother in law connected . We have another graduation party on June 6 I don’t know which dessert I’m making yet cause there’s so many to choose from but which ever one I make I will let you know I thank you so much for all these great and easy desserts

I found a reddi crust with crushed pecans and one with crushed walnuts. Can I use one of them ? If I use the lime jello does it matter which crust and if I use strawberry jello I want to try the crust with the pecans or the one with the walnuts.
