The duck was rude as hell to the cat. Taking the massager away and THROWING it across the room until it got it(don't know what sex it is) from the cast. You call the cat "hairball" though, which I think is rather rude. Especially considering how sweet the cat was to the duck.

I think Hairball, the fluffy cat, helped raise the duck. So Hairball has imprinted on the duck.

These comments crack me up. Nahh we definitely dont have "a long way to go" Its because the cats are well taken care of, are fed, and aren't going hungry. Even lions can "bond" with some humans every once in a while, but even then, lions randomly attack their trainers and not only bite "the hand that feeds them" but eat the entire rest of them too. Completely randomly for no reason at all. Because hey. Its what ANIMALS do. Ive seen videos that baffle me to this day, of tigers and prey animals just hanging out. Ive seen videos of "exceptions" to the rule many many times. Its not something we as humans can all "learn something from" . All it is, is just Nature being merciful for the moment, and even entertaining. But something the human race can all beneficially and collectively LEARN from?? Uhh no man. Get real. Has the internet pacified the populace this bad in under a century? I see more and more comments like this daily. Its just an odd phenomenon. The only way predator could TRULY ever just "get along" with prey, is if magically, all at once, by some act of Christ, OVERNIGHT, in every variety and species they exist, they just become herbivores and vegetarians and no longer feel the instinctual drive to consume the once living protein and nutrition that comes from a carcass that was once another breathing animal. By the way, in case you didnt know, if you live alone and all you have is your cat, and pass away from, say for example, a Heart attack, your cat WILL eat you after you are deceased. Unless some giants that are 50 feet tall come and scoop us up, and take care of us, house us, and feed us humans (where we assume the position of these animals shown here in this video, where our instinctual needs are automatically met by our "domestication") and these giants treat us the way the humans have treated these animals, I honestly don't see how anything shown in this video could be comparatively drawn together with OUR existence. If you're talking about compassion/understanding maybe? Its like okay? Yeah? And? Last I checked HUMANS have the capacity to show more of that than animals EVER could. Nature, and the law of the land is SUPER cruel. Go watch wildlife in a jungle or the safari or something. Places where LAWS for humans don't exist, and animals roam follow NO law, but to hunt and kill, and are restrained by NOTHING. Think about this cats fate away from HUMAN intervention, in an environment where there's nothing but grassy prairie, and a pissed off wild hungry pack of coyotes. What do you think these cats do even in our own city neighborhoods where other random cats DARE cross over onto THEIR side of the street or sidewalk? Do you have any idea how NATURALLY territorial cats are in the presence of other cats?? They rip each other to SHREDS!! Not even for FOOD PURPOSES! Just to DO IT! yes. Simply to teach the other cat a "lesson". The good old, nature designed, "hierarchy". Ever bring a cat home when you already GOT a cat at home? Yeahh BIG mistake. If you forget to exercise your due diligence and SEPARATE them for AT LEAST 2 weeks to a month. You're in for a REAL treat. Its a touching video. It makes you feel good. Its a video full of love, and its neat and beautiful. And at times, nature CAN be amazing. But cant you just appreciate it for what it is? Instead of attaching these garbage philosophically absent ideas to it?? Impressionable minds will read your comment and actually subscribe to these modern ideas, and in return, creates and perpetuate a weaker less intellectually capable society/community for everyone. People who took the time to read this. Think for yourselves. If you believe this guys comment, and you ACTUALLY believe we have anything to learn from a couple ducks getting along with a couple cats, your lying to yourself, and to the rest of the world. And your occupying your brains crucial functions of perceptive morality and interpretive realism, in place of ill constructed fantasy. Get real.
