Man, when this dropped in the 70's, I was a young white kid who only listened to country. We never heard anything like this. We couldn't get enough. I listen to it repeatedly until I had memorized every word. Years later when my daughter was sampling rap for the first time, I had her listen to this. Sugar Hill, Grand Master Flash, Run DMC, Morris Day & the Time, and so on and so on and so on. Some of the best music of all time and some of the most fun music of all time. There were still messages in the music but if was just different from today. So much fun. Fantastic Voyage is another awesome one to hear.
