I had two seizures following a TBI sustained after being hit by a car in 2007. I haven't had any since my coma, though I do struggle with other issues to this day (concentration and memory problems, mostly).

I would hypothesize that based upon the malfunction of the brain’s mechanisms as a cause for seizures, possibly disabling the neuronal connections that are misfiring could alleviate the symptoms, but who knows what side effects there could be. On a side note, maybe neuroplasticity would allow for a redistribution of these lost functions to other regions. Sorry for the long schpeel.

May of 2020 was my seizure attack, convulsive chronic tonic ( grand-mal) . for me they seem to come about every three and a half months to 4 months and it's just one I'm not having multiple a day or like a month that's what strange for me, and that that I never had seizures before until that day just a few months after turning 39. I did serve in the army just shy of 6 years had one tour in Iraq, but by the time the seizure attacks happened I already had been out of the army for 9 years. during my service I can't account for any TBI that would require any kind of Medical attention, so my next thing is this toxic exposure burn pits that's been going on through the House and Senate. that's the only thing I can think of is the exposure of the burn pits while being in Iraq. have a couple appointments coming up one for my regular provider and next month will be my neurologist. as of right now my last seizure I had was this past May now being August it is now 3 months that's how my Caesar's been playing out and what my seizure log Journal also has written down, so been with these mysterious seizures for 2 years, now going into my third cycle which will be May of 2023.

@White Cloud still been having some seizures, medicine's been increased a little bit and my neurologist said from now until March if I have any other seizures he'll be sending me off to Emory Center. Well last one so far was just right after Thanksgiving and next appointment is about 3 and 1/2 months out. I guess I'll see

I have a friend that had seizure when she was small from their growing up it stops But when she got into boxing she got a brain injury in the middle of her brain she's been acting weird she's been losing memories and they're her body starts to Twitch like she's about to have a seizure she says when she feels that way she can't breathe that her head hurts all the time we told the doctors was going on but they don't listen so hopefully I can find my answers here. When her body starts to twitch when she's having a conversation she has no control the way it keeps going so do you think it might be in nerve system

Sounds like she might have epilepsy. Many boxers develop epilepsy from all the beating, so to go into boxing with already existing epilepsy is a big no.

could be pnes, it's more related to mental health but very similar to epileptic seizures. i have it and what you describe sounds very recognizeable. i also suffer from memory loss but it's due to insomnia, which i also got from a head injury. lack of sleep and not being able to express certain emotions or feelings that one might when doing something they love can actually lead to built up stress and pnes. Aka: Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures, i'm not a doctor but she might want to look it up
