I’m playing a dwarf Cavalier and in taking advantage of being able to attack as a bonus action with the dwarf feat dwarfen fortitude. It allows me to heal and attack on the some turn multiple times

Though I respect your custom standard array my guy. I feel like it’s not as broadly applicable to most players/tables. You’ve probably heard this a million times, but I would honestly suggest doing point buy for the builds. As it’s more realistic to what most tables will be playing.

I've been working on a Cavalier/Swashbuckler build that is thematically a matador. I even went Two-Weapon Fighting and the Dual Wielder feat for some interesting weapon combos and a little extra AC. I went with a Quarterstaff for my "main hand" reflavored as a banner, and a Rapier in my "offhand" for the better damage die and the ability to use Sneak Attack with the Cavalier's bonus action attack. I went with the Hobgoblin for their attack roll bonus and more bonus action shenanigans. At 20th level, I had worked out how many levels of which and in which order, but the important bit is you want 11th level Fighter for three attacks with your main, and 9th level Rogue to get the Swashbuckler's Panache.

Considering how often you talking about how a fear effect is really useful, I'd like to redirect you to Fizbans dragonborn and the dragon fear feat. (I know it's based charisma😢 but someone will fail eventually) with metallic being a nice option. (The diffirent types of breath weapons can work very well at incapacitating foes and the normal breath weapon still works decently enough t be worth using)

16:44 I’m pretty sure that a rapier does piercing damage and thus doesn’t work with slasher. Longsword’s good though

You would have to use a longsword or battleaxe even because a rapier does do Piercing damage.

Whip babyyyyy, made a kobold cavalier/rogue multiclass, with the whip you have the finesse for sneak attack and slashing damage. With MoM kobold having ba draconic cry you have perms advantage for the team for several turns. Using interception fighting style to protect Allies while using the whip’s range and a homebrew feat that gives whips an extra 1d4, ability to knock back 5ft.

Shortsword or scimitar work for the slasher feat and finesse needed for sneak attacks
