Secrets best kept from dropkick bogans who leave all the garbage with no concerns about the pristine environment.All the bush tracks around the major cities have barricades because of junk dumping idiots.And like that tyre, get washed into creeks and floods eventually takes them to rivers and so on.Onya Scotty for not revealing the location.

This place not only echos the still used Cooee call of Australia, but truly brings the heart back to Mother Earth in all her splendor. Deep bow to the Aboriginal tribes who still hold true to the ancient ways and preserve our countries precious land and it's stories. What a magical place that is Scotty! An absolutely cracking find. I totally agree about not sharing locations. It's not like the old days when only a relatively small group of people would discover and visit places through bushwalking clubs or guide books. The internet has changed that. In any event, there are still gems like that out there and it's so much more rewarding to put the hard work in and find your own way. Cheers mate.

Scotty, I've got 30 years in front of you & still enjoy the bush. Show what can be found & help people understand the joy of connecting with country. Nothing wrong with being a gatekeeper. Too many times I've seen the results of when a 'Mr Spill the Beans' do articles on a beautiful location and its destroyed by those who don't respect what was there. Sometimes I come home after a trip only to say to family, don't go back out there, just remember the way it was. You're doing a top job of showing country & recognising the first nation lands.

I moved over seas from Australia a few years ago and miss it every day. You encompass every aspect of what I miss in your videos. The fishing, Hiking, Camping and just exploring the serenity of the Australian bush. I have been very fortunate to have been able to explore parts of the Pilbara region in WA. highly highly recommend it if you ever have a chance. Love your work mate!

This area is absolutely bloody gorgeous & the bird song is just delicious too. Would loved to see the wombat in his natural habitat, the rock formation which would give awesome shelter is available everywhere along this creek/river. just so good.

When I go exploring I get that primordial / ancent vibe too I think it's the really old rock and waterfalls that do it. Another outstanding job brother; thanks for showing this to us. You mentioned someone calling you a gate keeper; then so be it; you're absolutely doing the right thing. Here in the United States we are loosing access to so many places that once were free, due to disrespectful people wrecking things for us all. Those that really have the love will do as you do and search and find these places on their own, then only share them with the Creator who made them as you have done.

The scenery reminds me so much of Northern Arizona. I'm fairly old, when I was a child the places were wild, and quiet; now, they are crawling with people. Keep your secrets, protect the wild places. Thank you for sharing the adventure, but yes, keep these places sacred.

I think the ‘shrub’ might be The Tree of Heaven. It’s an invasive species which grows 10-15 ft each year and originates from China and Taiwan. It’s leaves smell like peanuts or rotting cashews. The seed pods spin to the ground when they fall enabling easy dispersion. Don’t quote me but it’s the nearest thing I could find. Dorset, UK

Absolutely beautiful. We are the luckiest people on earth, living in Australia. Just always be wary of flash floods when camping near creek beds. Make sure you have a fast exit to higher ground always. Our country is beautiful, but unpredictable. X

reminds me of my childhood in the 70s and 80s. I grew up around Umina Beach and my mates and I used to go into the bush and find sand stone caves like these all the time, sometimes we would sleep there in our sleeping bags for the night.

Absolutely loved this video, never knew that Australia had caves and rock formations as you have shown us. May I make a suggestion when you go back and I know you will----carry your fly rod and tie on a small black or brown bug with legs and watch the carp attack it? A little movement of the fly will get a reaction---thanks for sharing

In the first 2 minutes all I could think about was a Violet Crumble, those honeycomb colour rocks. I have a piece of the Hawkesbury, a doorstop size, that brings me joy from years spent wandering the coast. 😘 Get the App for plant ID, that wasn't bamboo, but a native cane.

Get on Google Earth, and start looking around. Look for waterways that are miles away from any sort of road/track.

Tha Salami you want Scotty is called Cacciatore which means Hunter in Italian. It is made drier and therefore it'll keep without refrigeration once you cut it open .

I absolutely froth over every video you bring out. I’ve been watching you since the beginning . From watching your coastal camping videos too extreme bush isolation and cave camping I’ve now known some coastal bush plants that are edible and may or may have not gotten some recipes too ! Keep up with the great work. I can’t wait too see more videos. You encourage people too go camping go see what Australia has too offer and mate you’re doing an awesome job. thanks for another video Scotty, these are very relaxing, and I'm always amazed how diverse Australia is. I actually agree with you on not revealing these locations - everyone more or less follows the same approach when it comes to fishing spots here in Poland, since if something becomes popular, people just destroy these places immediately (overfishing, leaving plastic everywhere)

Great video Scotty mate. Yes I want to ask where this is but as I carry an extra bag for rubbish wherever I go, I agree natural places need to remain natural to preserve. Let anyone find for themselves and reap the reward. I recently started going solo at different times and if you try the most accessible spot at a unusual time, you get the magic out of it, leave alone the remote areas. Keep up the good work.

The erosion on the sandstone is amazing. That would seem to indicate a lot of water over a long period of time.

this reminds me of my childhood along a local part of the georges river, only this is even more spectacular, i for one understand your not disclosing the location, but, thanks for sharing the video, its like time travel for me
