Curly wakes up, sees multiple naked clones of herself, and her first thought is Quote is having a party...I think that machine damaged her processor chip or whatever these droids have for a brain

You guys all saying "Quote lost his virginity to a bunch of naked Curly clones" seem to be forgetting that Chako ever happened

I think Wind Fortress is just Quote having his most wet dream ever.

When the clones attack him at 3:02 it looks really wierd. but then I realized that it's actually the same behavior as balrog. yeah... that makes it wierder...

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but this was originally meant to be a stage in the full game. didn't quite make the cut, though. Originally, Balrog was supposed to have kidnapped Curly and started using the cloning machine to replicate her. When the machine made 100 clones, she was supposed to die. this was why it got taken out -- too dark, apparantly.

Interestingly, the clones in the last battle are using the same mechanics as Balrog for their "grapple attacks". I also noticed that (in addition to fixed spawns), two clones appear per clone killed -- kinda like hydra heads. That said, I don't think it's mentally possible for the devs NOT to have known about the implications here. I mean, when Curly makes the "party" remark... just look at that face. What the *hell* goes through that girl's CPU?! Why is she ":D"-ing?! Who WROTE this?!

Those clones at the boss are constantly trying to rape him, can't blame them though and in the end of the mission quote lost his virginity poor lad :(

He's using the Spur. Unlike most guns in the game, the Spur does not use the basic level up feature. Instead, you hold the button down to charge up. The lv bar indicates what level you're on. The more you hold it, the more devastating the effect.

If you would pay attention to details, the Curly Bots during the G-CLONE battle have Balrog's AI, but the speed is pumped up to insane amounts.

Oh yeah, walking through a hall filled with failed/incomplete Curly clones is totally less interesting than the fact that an attack animation looks somewhat suggestive. -_-

Technically Curly knows shes not the only robot of her type, remember the previous ruler of the Demon Crown before the doctor? There were lots of surface robos, so maybe she thought they're like - her fellow sisters who werent evil much like how she found out that Quote is, and the fact the Demon Crown is gone probably means robots aren't "evil" in nature anymore. Curly seems kinda naive anyways so...

This would have been a cool thing to have. After you get the spur you have nothing to do and check the computer and it tells you shes at the wind fortress and you go save her as a part of the best ending then she tells u where kazuma is and it plays out like normal

His Final Smash could be Collapsing Island. Multiple blocks would fall from the sky and crush players, except for Quote, who would be swept up by the Flying Dragon before it happened.

@blop202 Exactly what I was thinking: Curly as an Assist or Final Smash, Balrog as a Boss Battle in Adventure Mode It could very well work because Quote fits in quite well with Smash Bros, and the fact that this Indy game is becoming very loyal to Nintendo does give it a boost.

They are essentially the same, though this has a few more features (like this). I would recommend this.

It was cave story DSi. They released the DSiware on the 3DS eshop and soon took it down around the time cave story 3D released.

A remake similar to Cave Story+ was released for the 3DS' online downloadable software network (Nintendo eShop) in North America.

@zask3333 Cave Story+ is on steam. It's a PC game and the only way to play Wind Fortress.

I had a very hard time with the bugs. Eventually I decided it wasn't worth it a lot of the time to even try to kill them, and was partially using them as boosts with them hitting me. It just takes a bit of practice. :)

You can get it for free from the tribute site. Get the +Plus version for the Wii, for 1,000 Wii points, I think. Or buy it from Steam that has additional endings and costs 9.99, I think.
