+KansaiGene I disagree. Vlad Putin takes the time to do regular town hall type meetings where he answers random questions by his citizens in the audience. I thought that was an enviable thing that Russia has going for them. I noticed no American presidents ever lower themselves to doing it and this our first Prime Minister I know of that is taking time to do it. He promised he would keep his ear to the ground and actually talk to and stay in touch w/ the concerns of everyday Canadians and I think it's laudable that he is actually making good and wasting no time to do it. I didn't vote for him, and I have some concerns about his leadership, but this isn't one of them.

Tax the wealthy. Crush loopholes and demand proper full taxation of corporations including taxing bank transfers. Use the funds to fund public free university education nationally and don't forget health funding.

mastertheillusion you're liberal insane. Tax the rich, lol. Competition with the young is rough for those in their late forties and fifties. If you are a single male and in that age group there doesn't seem to be much hope for Neil and so many more and to bring in more immigration will not fix the problem. Happening in the United States also.

The CBC made a tremendous effort to help us elect a responsive government and now they are shifting the effort to insure the government is accountable to the people. That should be what we expect of the news media but CBC are the only ones doing it.Trudeau demonstrated that he is not going to lead from above but lead with the people. I am eagerly waiting to see some of his projects role off the line and provide the expected benefits.

Cool video...I doubt they would ever do this in Italy. I laugh when the people say taxes are high in Canada. Value Added Tax in Italy is 22% (province and federal combined) and my income tax is 30% not even earning 30,000 per year. You people are lucky!

This is not worth listening to! He says the same things over and over again...ACTION is what we need! Never a mention to help seniors on small pensions.Only says what we already know...AGING population,someday he will be there,but he will have our money to live on! Credit card debt....DO something about the high interest rate! People will never have their debts paid off but the government still wants their property TAXES!!

the arctic passage is ours (Canadian) anyone that goes through it illegally whether its an american boat or Russian boat it will be arrested and all the inoculants will be thrown in jail in i know this because Canada has built loads of military bases in the north my father is one of the engineers leaders in the government in fact he is the second boss and he overused manny military bases constructions starting from all the way back in 2005 and is still doing it i cant say his name tho sorry about that

Our people are strong 6:56 and on. We all pay taxes. Only the most needy get it as per our wishes in democracy. Me lady you are important. You are not the only one. Our weak must be dealt with but as a nation we must also advance. Yes help the poor but aswell advance the nation.

I am amazed at PM Trudeau's casualness! And I am aghast at the lack of respect when addressing our Prime Minister! Wow, I guess no matter how upset I was on the topic needing to be addressed, that there should be a protocol to addressing the man that is leading our nation!

I understand he is our prime minister, but we are the ones who elected him. He's actually a simple member of parliament who holds the office of prime minister. He doesn't deserve a stand up and salute I believe. We should treat him like we treat all other Canadians: no special protocol, but with common manners.

+Michael Coulter Thank you! Many people don't realize Justin is just another MP. We aren't the United States and shouldn't address our PM in any special way. Actually, if Justin were to lose his riding as an MP, he couldn't become PM.

Justin Trudeau is an exceptional PM and he has a magnific government team. He is very much appreciated by the people in the European Union and has (both due to his policies and by being himself) promoted Canada as the great, avant-garde country it is. In an old Europe where governments and ultra-parties (even neonazis) are doing all they can against multi-culturalism, immigration, refugees (and all of the issues associated thereby), PM Trudeau has shown that a country can go forward integrating everyone. I would be *very proud* of such a government. I wish Canada a brilliant future. Best from Greenland.

He didn't have to do this. Nobody ever has. It wouldn't have changed a thing for him if he didn't do this. It looks cheesey doesn't it ? Well, he's real. He cares about people and is demonstrative about it. The fact that genuiness and caring out in the open looks cheesey is a direct statement to the fact that people in power havent been like this on this level and we have a cold space between those in power and the people they are supposed to care about. It's a sad statement that this looks cheesey in comparison to what we've been handed up to now, a sad statement to what we've had.

What is it with people that base everything on emotions and how it 'feels' while they're being robbed blind and making excuses for the one doing the robbing? Do you not understand what it means to be exploited? How certain people prey on the emotions of others and count on their 'feelings' to guide them into making increasingly worse choices, and keep people in power for the sole purpose of robbing them?
