The Ultra-Orthodox do not recognize Israel as their home or nation. They lived under Moslem rule just fine for centuries. The Muslims did not bother them and did not make them serve in their military. So they would be fine with Israel becoming Palestine again and living under Ottoman-Turk rule. Also, modern Israel plays no role in God's plan of salvation for mankind through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The New Testament Church is now God's chosen people -- not a modern revival of Israel by atheist Ashkenazi Jews from Europe and Russia.

There are still hostages in captivity. and in my opinion this is not a time for dancing. It's a time for mourning and prayer. We need repentance, we need to say the Kaddish prayer daily to lift up in prayers those who have died since Oct 7.The country is burning, so many are displaced, the crops are wasting in the fields, and people wanna dance. @@keithma88Amen. It's sad. I will keep praying that God would open their spiritual eyes. I know that a huge fault belongs to the previous generations who became more secular and less concerned about the basic prayers from the Tanakh. Just like King David prayed those prayers which we know now as the Psalms. In HIs infinite wisdom, God has placed His forgiveness and mercy even in those Psalms. My inference is that since the Father is in the Son, then those Psalms could bring mighty mercy and forgiveness to any broken heart that is still looking for the Messiah. Of course they should realize the meaning of idolatry, and turn away from that,....but the sad truth is that even the fiery situation from Israel at least should prompt them to think if it's ok to have all this dancing now.

What are you implying? They were dancing to trance music for equality for everyone. No particular religion. Celebrating the gift and joy of youth and life ... there is no sin nor shame in that. The attack has nothing to do wirh Israelis dancing but with their mere existence before the entire region would fall. If your community were to be more pious not even then would your comment make sense nor be a bad judging of others. The Jewish people have a different role to play in the grand picture of humanity / earth. Maybe you can start accepting it and judging less.

Thanks for the clarification regarding the orthodox draft issue. Sounds like the Israeli Supreme Court is trying to bring balance and fairness to a policy that was established in Israel’s early existence. The situation has changed and the current exemption (and laws) need to be changed to reflect the changes in Israel’s current situation. Makes common sense to me.😊
