I'm Irish and ex UN. Good on the families, I hope they win. Israel, should also explore the chance of taking a case against the UN Council. It has failed in It's peace mandate in Lebanon, it has made no reasonable attempt, to prevent Hezbollah entering the exclusion zone. They have allowed this build up over many years, they should have sought a peace enforcement role, and if the Lebanese Government refused. All UN forces should have been withdrawn, and all aid stopped to Lebanon, but they won't do this, because they have always colluded with Palestinian terrorists, against Israel.

Not only UNWRA but also the United Nations should be sued along with the leadership of both under their positions and as individuals should be sued. The UN is responsible the organizations within its structures and those who as employees carry its name and are paid representatives of the UN (UNRWA). The individuals who I were/are in leadership roles, such as UNRWAs Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini and Deputy Commissioner-General Leni Stenseth, the ninth Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres, and United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories Francesca P. Albanese, all of whom were placed into their roles based upon their individual professional achievements and their perceived individual professional integrity, thus these persons should be sued not only in their positions but also as their individual self who failed to uphold the integrity of their paid positions.
