CBR1100XX exhaust comparison stock to Scorpion

I made this video while installing my Scorpion Oval Carbon slip on cans to compare the sound from stock exhaust to Scorpion with DB killers and without DB killers. Thanks for watching

Sounds like a proper Superbike without the dB killers. Like the whistling/whining sound of the straight cut gears in the transmission, my CBR600F4 sounds like that.

Hi Kyle G. Thank you, I was very lucky with these I bought them second hand on Gumtree for a very good price. The seat is the original one which I had custom moulded and covered. Thanks for subscribing! Cheers👍

Hi billy1858, yes they were very easy. They basically slip straight on. Hence the name “slip on exhaust”. Thanks for your interest. Cheers👍

Hi, what is whistle sound comes from engine? I got same sound on blackbird but more loud

Hi Vil Kruuse, I’m not 100% sure exactly what that sound is but it is a characteristic of Blackbird engine. It’s so unique that you could almost guess it’s a Blackbird if you hear one without seeing it first. Maybe someone else can chime in and enlighten us. I have attached a link below that may help you. Only fuel inyected ones does that whistle. I have a carbie and it doesnt make that sound and it sounds more roar.

just personal preference, besides, end cans dont do anything only make the bike louder.

There's no denying the Scorpions sound great, especially with the Db killers removed. They look great too. But, at about $1100-1250 shipped to the US from England ( for the all stainless steel units), they are just too damn expensive! You lose a few pounds of weight, but really gain very little if any more power. Not worth it.

Hi Steve Smith, very true! I was lucky enough to find mine on gumtree for about 450AUD in very good second hand condition...worth every penny💪😉

@@xxmotovlogs9809 That's the way to do it if you happen to find a nice pair. I sold my perfect condition single polished stainless unit ( same exact muffler (can) from my 2016 Suzuki Bandit on ebay and only got back about 1/3rd of what I paid for it.

That is a grab handle, and Brad B is correct but some owners take them off and cap the holes which gives the bike a sleek look. You can find them on eBay or at motorcycle wreckers/dismantlers. Cheers
