This was one of my all time favorite episodes In the series. I remember seeing this at my grandmother's house when I was a small boy. I remember it like it was yesterday.

I like how in Bobby's dream of the UFO landing in the back yard the little people's spaceship had the letters UFO on it.

Seriously? That captain who spent his entire career dealing with crank UFO sightings actually thought that red floating thing was real? He really IS ready to retire.

Greg acts like he just avoided a 30 year sentence at San Quentin with that sigh of relief at the end. Give me a break, the captain does not have any legal ground to do anything about a practical joke.

When Mike took the car away from Greg in the punch line, the weekend of his fishing trip, and Mike replied, "I'm afraid you'll have to tell the fish that you were grounded.", it would seem like he would have to go to the lake, or wherever he was going to go fishing, with a bull horn, and say, " Attention all fish! I'm grounded this weekend, so I won't be able to come and try to catch you this weekend." When Carol responded, "I suppose you'll have to hitch a ride on a UFO, it seemed as if she was saying that he would have to bum a ride from one of his friends, who was going to go with him.

Gregs lip? Supposedly while off set, Greg, Barry Williams, cut his lip in a minor car accident. Atleast that's how the story goes.

In this episode, Bobby has a dream that he actually got to ride in a UFO that landed in his backyard.

I forgotten that the Captain was skeptical of UFOS to start with. I don't blame him after years of having people tell him far out stories after hitting the sauce a bit too much!

So it's dark outside when Greg and Mr Brady are in the attic, yet it's daytime for all the people in the family room.

In the end, Greg's parents punish him by denying him the loan of the car, so he couldn't go on his fishing trip. Hope it taught him his lesson.

Greg deserved to be punished which he was. He and the other kids have been warned before about carrying a joke too far. Mike should've said in stern voice, "Greg, haven't your mother and I told you and the other kids before that carrying a joke too far can lead to trouble?"

The captain was played by James Flavin. He was one of the sailors in the original KING KONG (1933) and had bit roles in many films of the 30's and 40's.

Some joke that was, UFO stands for "Undoubtedly Flipped Out"! Greg paid the price for it and wound up getting grounded!!

I can't believe Peter and Bobby actually fell for Greg's UFO gag. I wonder how they took it when they found out it was all a fake?

Why would Greg say anything,or admit to doing anything at all,just because the cop was there? The cop already didn’t believe the ufo was real. All Greg had to do is keep his mouth shut. Then he could have kept doing it,not not get grounded at the end of the show.

Cindy’s hairstyle in this scene is the best, it’s a shame they didn’t let her have her hair down in more episodes.

I was “The Lost Brady”. I was Mrs. Brady’s illegitimate son from when she was in college. I only appeared in the pilot episode. I didn’t fit well in the script and story line, so they dropped my character after the pilot episode. I was like the “Chuck” from Happy Days. My character’s name was “Stan” and they didn’t like that it rhymed with Jan so, they had it in for me from the beginning. Besides, there were no more bedrooms. Where was I going to sleep? I suggested Mr. Brady’s den. But, NOOO! He was a friggin’ architect! That was where he did his precious little drawings! AND he was gay! Did you know that? Mr. Brady was friggin’ GAY! He was probably banging Peter and Bobby in his little “DEN”! Oh and Alice? ...a man. That’s right! Alice was a dude! Oh I could go on and on about that family. WHY? Oh, WHY didn’t they build an extra room and THEN there would’ve been a “STAN BRADY”! I even suggested the attic. But, again, they said NOOOO! “That’s for when Greg gets older!” AND they said they wanted an even number of kids in the show-3 boys & 3 girls AND THAT’S IT! But THEN, along comes “Cousin Oliver”!
