That dap they shared was powerful! It echoed throughout the gym.

Their ARE hero’s among us. God bless that young man. God already blessed the ref by assuring his hero’s presence.

This the kind of world we need where we help one another. What a blessing this young-man was there and he knew CPR.

I'm glad this was posted online. During the CBS broadcast in Arkansas this segment was cut in the middle for a Tornado Warning. Thankfully the radar indicated tornado didn't touch down.

Crying happy tears, but where was the AED machine, or the ambulance after 30 minutes. Assume the school may be out in the country.

@user-rl3mp1yy8z: I'm ecstatic to watch this uplifting story of survival and care. I also work in advanced life support. 30 minutes of cpr with no ambulance or an AED is shocking and a very long time. Glad and thankful this story had a happy ending.

I live near, and have worked in, Toledo. The City only has two emergency services since all Fire and Rescue personnel must be certified as an EMT or paramedic. The first time a fire rig responds to a medical emergency can be rather startling for the caller.

Where I'm from. All licensed sporting events must have a medical professional/nurse etc at all games. Last year a male junior college basketball player collapsed on the court and neither the officials nor the home are visiting coaches etc knew what to do. It really amazed me. After the incident. The league made immediate changes. The family of this young man filed a lawsuit.

If he ever refs this young man's game, *he better not call any fouls on him!* 🏀

The best part about being a conspiracy theorist: you don't get myocarditis from vaccine shots.

I had the "Widowmaker" last August. 10 minutes of CPR before a defibrillator was brought in. The first and second ambulances didn't have one so the had to call the fire department. Unlike this gentleman, I don't remember anything surrounding it.
