It came out and no major news picked it up. Nobody wants to take the Obama Administration down. It's sad. My husband doesnt even believe and he's a conservative. Im so angry that nobody in media will pick this up!

Ok, stop calling them 'ex-SEAL' theres no such thing as ex-SEAL, once a man is a SEAL he is always a SEAL, especially a member of DEVGRU.....

This devastating loss for the Navy is nothing but the spark needed to end the war. Us, as the American people, need to focus more on understanding the sacrifices that service members overseas go through on a daily basis. Just use your freedoms those freedoms protected by the sacrifices and volunteer your precious time to help a fellow human being out if nothing else. Just keep us in your thoughts and give back when the time comes.

@backupstuff People die in wars, but not this way. Afghan soldiers are at times in joint patrols with regular US forces performing routine missions. But supposedly Army Rangers (Special Forces) needed help unexpectedly, so Navy SEALs (Special Forces) were called in. Such a situation is not suitable for Afghan cooperation because they are not prepared and they'd put the rescue mission in danger. The official story makes no sense. Why were Afghans in that helicopter? Even a translator? What for?

How do know ? May be they were just bad timing that's how we go's some time even the best operators can get killed or ambushed the SAS have suffered losses and casualties Delta Force has suffered losses and casualties no operation team is immune to losing or getting killed

If Seal platoons are 16 men and Seal teams are 6 platoons then this crash took out an entire platoon and then some. Don't know if DEVGRU's any different, but it may have been about 20% of their manpower gone.

Devgru is set up differently than regular SEAL teams. There are 4 Assault Squadrons (Red, Gold, Blue, Silver) and each Squadron is comprised of 3 troops. A troop is 15 Devgru operators and also other people attached such as EOD or dog handlers and a troop is broken down further into 3 5-man teams (A, B, & C). Typically, an entire troop goes out together for their nightly missions. Extortion 17 was carrying an entire troop (2 Troop- Gold Squadron). Red Squadron is the one that took out Bin Laden.

my friend done a 16 mile swim in the english channell the seals wore fliipers the paras had 56 kg bag boots and a weapon doesnt rate seals

@roflwaffle12321 remember, the media dumbs down certain aspects of what really happened for civvies who dont know the freakin difference between a RPG and a stinger, so it probably was a stinger missile or some russian AA guided missile, like you said firing a RPG at a helo is like throwing a rock at it.

Hmm.....so two things could have happened ....one seals are meant to go where we are not supposed to be and when they see something that the powers at be won’t want our then they are sent on a last mission. A suicide mission.to keep secrets secret . Two. They needed them dead to protect them and stop any retaliation. I think they needed seal team six dead to make sure nothing bad was born.

You need to look at DFAS. Indianapolis. I saw the praying mantis on the window at dfas. I saw a red haired russian goodwill person come at me with blood in her eye. Adrian Osama thought that was funny. Obama was president then.
