People said last year after losing 3 starters UCONN wouldn't repeat 😮see how that worked out for ya. When you have the UCONN coaching staff nothing is impossible.

With all three starters going to the NBA, including the 2023 Tourney MOP! I wouldn’t blame fans for thinking on the heels of the back, talk of 3 three peat was fun, but maybe not a reality when facing losing atat least four starters if not, all five and maybe also big beast conference 6th man of year. Well, what has transpired with commitments and in the transfer portal and Diarra coming back makes it not seem like a pipe dream. If #11 comes back for one more year, watch out.

Gary Parrish a little snarky there with Matt Norlander about that returning five of the nine top scorers comment. Norlander provided excellent follow up to provide context that some of these players were playing limited minutes and had low PPG.

Next year’s draft is stacked with talent. As much as I want Karaban to stay, at best he’d marginally improve his stock playing an extra year, but also risk potential injury. We’ll see, hopefully 1 more year!!!

Andre is non scholarship so it doesn’t impact the grid. However if AK returns we still have 1 slot technically available if Hurley wants to fill it

I don't think they want Brea and would rather focus on Stewart's progression. Stewy might not be better than Brea right now, but he absolutely could be by the tournament next year. That's just how good Uconn is at player development.

They don't want Brea. They already have Stewart, a better talent than Brea, who could be the better player by March 2025. UConn player development is just that good

Did UConn have a top-four roster this past year, I don't think so. At UConn it has rarely been about individual players, it's more about their blue-collar work ethic for 40 minutes combined with the systems they run. Lastly, because of the diversity of playing styles and the physicality of the Big East, teams out of that conference are well prepared to compete against non-conference foes.
