Illinois looks sturdier as a team compared to 2021 and 2022 when they won the Big Ten Tournament and Big Ten Regular Season. In those days, this team had a tendency to rely on Ayo Dosunmu, Kofi Cockburn, and Alfonso Plummer. If they didn't play well, Illinois became an easy team to suffer and lose. This year, this team looks sturdier as a team because everybody can run, defend, and score with versatility. I'm looking forward for this team to make it to Sweet Sixteen at least.

Not as talented as storr half his points are free throws and im and Illini fan it’s just facts but Shannon’s vet style of play he abuses the whistle and gets calls and he’s a d1 college player he’s gonna make some shots but he’s not on the same level as storr and he’s only a real sophomore

That was a really great game you can see how Wisconsin was feeding off the big win over Purdue but damn Illinois has a real high power offense I think it was their front line that made the difference both teams will be a factor in the tournament I say Illinois has best chance for big ten . Just don't know about Purdue s meltdowns in tournament time . Hopefully big ten will do better but I don't have any of them picked for final four

Why is Connor Essegian in Greg Gard's doghouse? He's an offensive weapon that can be useful on a team that has limited options. I get tired of him not even getting in the game.

Team with limited option? Storr, hepburn, klesmit, crowl, wahl, and blackwell are all capable scorers that play better defense. I do agree he SHOULD BE getting more mins though.

@@unknowntrademark9992 Yes, limited options off the bench. Even with people fouling out, Gard refuses to give him a shot. The kid was a blessing as a freshman, he should be rewarded.

Nearly equal number of fouls and very few blatant missed calls. Not sure what you saw but Wisconsin just got shit on in the 2nd half. Illinois just scored better.
