I used to work for a very famous Air company and she was often flying with us. I saw many celebrities but I will always remember her because she was absolutely down to heart and very motherly. Everybody loved her and she treated everyone in a wonderful way: she was so thankful and lovely!

That is also what I always heard about her from people working in different service industries. She is delightful and has a warmth that radiates. No diva. I was also told when she is around, whether people know who she is or not, she attracts all eyes like real stars do.

You jest? She herself has admitted to extensive nips & tucks under the knife, but she can't do it anymore, because gravity gets us all in the end. She looked fantastic up until her late 60's/early 70's, in my opinion. She artificially extended her beauty past the natural limit, but she finally realized that age catches up to us all.

@@mckavitt13 I wouldn't be too sure about it. Maybe mild one. However my mum is 82 years old and is stunning, no surgery at all, no creams, no massage, just pure beauty, elegance and manners. Those were the women of Italy in those years...

Italian mammas have wonderful sons. Its the way we treat our sons. My father was born in Venice in 1924. He loved his mother. Only time I seen him cry was when she passed. I call my son Italian stallion. He loves his mamma! Good to me.

I saw the first "Madame Rosa" (French, with Simone Signoret) in the early 1980's. I'm SO glad the story is being re-told, and updated for our times. I loved it then, I know I will love this one. I read Sophia's autobiography decades ago and was vedry inspired by it. My own mother (and aunts) all had different fathers, unmarried. Sophia IS so gracious, warm and vulnerable, and strong when she needs to be. I also remember the problems she had with mis-carriages, and how she talked about staying in bed for Eduardo's entire pregnancy. Im the second of two sons, also Eduardo. I have always loved Sophia, and yes, like most people who have had to struggle in our early lives, she became wise early on, and that is why she has aged well.

That is so touching, and so beautiful to see how family members incorporates into each other’s craft. I do believe that even for those who do not know well the story of marriage between Ms Loren and Carlo Ponti (and that was A Story!!!) it’s obvious that the set of this movie was a place of love, gratitude, and admiration to each other and to a man who was such Figure in their lives. Sophia was the icon and idol and symbol of beauty and strength to my whole family since I can remember myself, and to see her remaining such glamorous, glorious, sophisticated and beautiful it’s pure bliss Thank you soooo much Sunday Morning🤗

What a true Lady! Breathtakingly beautiful, charismatically talented,a Star with all the meaning of the word and at the same time so down to earth, so generous,tender and humble. And the fact that she still works at her 86 with such a devotion is amazing,a role model for everyone!

Italian here. Sophia is timeless. She was gracing the screen already in the 1950s and 1960s on mostly Neapolitan films. She’s also fluent not only in Italian and Neapolitan but also French and English. Isn’t she incredible? So proud of her

There are not many living legends left but Sophia Loren is definitely one of them. I will never forget watching her decades ago with Alec Guiness, Stephen Boyd, and Christopher Plummer in Fall of the Roman Empire. Great to see her return to the silver screen at the age of 86!

I live across the street from her former home in Rome on Appia Antica -- and I feel so connected and close to my Italian roots and my nonna was like her, so loving and genuine.

Years ago I met a friend of a friend who had been a publicist back in the 1970s. One of her clients was Sophia Loren. She went on and on about what a great person Sophia was.

Sophia was the most beautiful woman in the world ❤️ my father adored her which made my mother so jealous. I raise my two daughters loving her and watching her movies over and over. I love her so much I named my Cadillac after her. Can't wait to watch her movie.

Operation Crossbow with Glen Ford was the first movie I saw her in. I was just 13 and that movie was so well played out by S. Loren that I had flashbacks from it for days after. I still remember certain parts of that movie that just stunned me! It was as if I was there in person. So glad she's making a comeback.
