Because so many want to be in the front not being beautiful, so they have to fake it. Not everybody is born beautiful, not everybody is born with great voice etc. This seems even some form of protest against dishonest order of nature.

She reminds me so much of my mom... My mom had beauty, dignity, talent and brains. She was a beautiful Sicilian woman and she so admired Sofia Loren. When I was about 7, someone mistook my mom for Sofia... I yelled, NO, she is my mom! One of many reasons I called my son Carl was also because my mom loved the name Carlo (Ponti, her husband who discovered her). This interview was just splendid in real time and again, now. She still captures the hearts of all who watch her work.

Both of them absolute naturals, unpretentious n classy. Rare qualities to find these days when alomost everyone around deliberately wears a mask. Johnny Carson is absolutely endearing, especially when he has kids on the show.

I love Sofia. Seeing her speaking English she seems more natural than when she speaks Italian. È la donna più bella del mondo.

Really good interview of Sophia Loren by Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show, back in 1979 I guess, when I gave birth to my older son! Like both of these people! And now Sophia is only here, with Johnny Carson, having passed away and going on to the spirit world...

Her features are very large but she is unconventionally extremely beautiful, and seems to have a great personality and not a repellant ego like some stars. Her hands are also so beautifully expressive - 2:03 - 2:05! Love Sophia.
