Do you guys consider the '21+ F-150 Coyotes 4th Gens? Let me know what you think! Another interesting fact is that the part number for the '21+ F-150 Coyote connecting rods are the same as the Gen 4 Mustang Coyote... 🤔 So, did the F-150 beat the Mustang to the 4th generational punch? Also, they have implemented cylinder deactivation in this new F-150 Coyote as well... Something new to the Coyote platform! I'm still trying to find information about whether or not the Gen 4 Mustang Coyote is using wet belts instead of chains like the new F-150 Coyote. Guess only time will tell if the new '21+ F-150 Coyote engines will be as reliable as their previous generations, or will all that new tech potentially affect reliability? Let me know your thoughts!

Loving the recent content man! I would have to agree with you and say the 2021 F150 coyote should be considered a gen 3.5! I feel like the speed density tuning and dual throttle bodies is what really differentiates the gen 4 from the other gens!

Gen 2 heads are as cast versions of the factory ported boss heads. So the heads shouldnt flow better maybe the same.

Actually I am going to reply back to this comment so other people will be informed. The boss heads were never factory "ported." They were CNC machined. The gen 2 heads are what everyone does when doing a coyote build... gen 3 block, gen 2 heads (because they have bigger valves and outflow the boss), and gen 1 timing components Its pretty common and basic knowledge

You are wrong about the gen 1 and 2 being 4.9 liters they were a true 5 liters and 302 cubes it was the old pushrod 302 that was only 4.9 liters. The gen 3 coyote w bigger bore is 307 cubes and it is still technically 5 liters just short of 5.1 liters.

A simple Google search shows the gen 1 and gen 2 are 4.95 liters and gen 3 is 5.035 liters... And as to your other comment, the gen 2 received larger valves versus the boss. That's where the added flow comes from. That's why every does the 3-2-1 build. Sounds like you don't know much about coyotes at all except spewing misinformation on a factual video
