Today, Arden goes over the wealth of content and appearances featuring the Spectre in the Bronze Age of comics. We'll go over the good and bad stuff, the important moments that would make the character changed forever in the eyes of readers, and the character's big solo series written by Doug Moench in the 1980s.
With important appearances in Alan Moore's Swamp Thing during a celestial war in heaven against a pure embodiment of darkness, new ideas of the Spectre's true powers as documented in the Crisis of Infinite Earths (Marv Wolfman and George Perez), and a full-scale alien invasion of Earth, a lot happened involving the Spectre during this time. Arden goes over his thoughts and feelings on all of it.
