How To Destroy A Skateboard: The Santa Cruz Powerply Wear Test

When our friends at Santa Cruz figured out a way to stop boards from chipping on the nose and tail, we knew we had to wear test that shit. If anyone knows how to destroy something it's us. So we took a regular Santa Cruz board and a Powerply Santa Cruz board and hit the streets with Santa Cruz ams, Maurio McCoy and Henry Gartland to compare and contrast and see if Powerply made a difference. Nah the Flights are the reply to NHS's P2's that they made. The PowerPly's are the response to NHS having easy to chip decks for the past two decades or when ever they moved there boards to china.

@@henrymob2651 at least vx + powerply, can't figure out which one pops longer, probably the vx, which chips easier. Powerply, which probably breaks easier. Probably intentional. Hell let's have it all take my money! Been 13 years since I last skated.buying a new setup soon, seems like there's been some tech going into decks for a good decade now, but not straightforward when trying to search for what has what, what's still around and what's gimmick. Any advice on brands etc to check out for that stuff? Probably over thinking it. It's been too long to have a preference, I'm gonna be squirrelly on anything I ride, if I can mob less kickflips and get more pop, I'll pay for it at first lol. Have you tried any flight, vx, powerply or other decks? Damn that's a wall of spam 😂. Not good way to open a dialogue, but what the hell. Cheers.
