I'm not joking, in my opinion BTS are some of the best live performers of all time. Even if someone doesn't like their music I don't know how anyone can deny how well they perform. The tickets for the first comeback tour after their military service is completed is going to be a bloodbath. Just let me see BTS at once in my lifetime.

They ALWAYS give their all when it comes to live performances!

They don't come on stage surprised at the new arrangement. They prepare vocally in the studio. They prepare to perfection. That's what they're famous for. Then they have rehearsal on stage. Then perform. They have it down before they ever hit the stage. Just like their choreography rehearsal that has to be perfect before it hits the stage. Same with vocals. Because the on stage preparations are mostly blocking. Where are they going to stand while they are being featured. If you haven't noticed...they know exactly where every camera is on stage and they play to it. Even though they aren't doing exact choreography and it looks Extemporaneous.....it's not. They know exactly when and where to move on stage. When to shift positions. Is there dancing free style once they are positioned on stage correctly? Yes. You've seen it before. They party!! A note: When they do precise choreography they are even trained on their eye placement so it even looks like they are more in sync. They are precision perfect. When I found BTS...I immediately watched content every day. I never saw a mistake on stage for 6 months. And I know what to look for as I am a choreographer. I'm trained to find what needs to fixed and worked on. If you watch the Behind the Scenes for their Busan concert you will see how they rehearse and make adjustments to the stage and clean up any blocking or choreography that isn't spaced out correctly. It is normal for a director and choreographer to be on the scene and taking notes what needs to be fixed. They are such professionals that they themselves do that. They rehearse then watch the playback and figure out for themselves how to make it perfect. I was in awe when I saw that on their Behind the Scenes. I think you'd like to watch the Behind the Scenes to see more of their interaction with the live band and to answer other questions about how they do that. They have Behind the Scenes for almost all they do. And we watch it all!

I think the reason why Japanese performance videos are good is mostly because of stable camera work and quality of videos. It also includes not much interference from the audience. But the reason why I recommend Korean performances is that they usually start and end their tours in Korea, and they tend to show the most stage ad-libs, energy, and relaxation in the live performances of final concerts in Korea. Also, vocal and rap are much more stable because they sing in their native Korean lyrics after dozens of performances.

Their live performances are always so amazing! Last year I went to their concert for the first time in Vegas knowing only 5 songs of theirs and I can honestly say that it was the best concert I have ever been to. (Mind you I’ve been to 20+ concerts) They are just so much fun to watch live and their energy is contagious. I’ve been to two other KPOP concerts since then and none of them have come close to BTS in my opinion. Now I’m a full blown army. 💜

After that concert they collapsed, backstage Jungkook and Jimin were exhausted. But on stage their energy is 100%, JK's stage presence impresses me. This remix only has good music, I love BTS discography. ❤

They always rehearse before any show vigorously and from some behind the scene clips I've seen, they work with the band in fine-tuning details. I'm just not sure with the arrangement whether how involved they are, but they definitely has a say. They're very outspoken and precise with what they want so I'm sure they approve things and share ideas on how they want things to turn out. Either way, the band working with them is an absolute legend. Kudos to them! Also, if you watch jhope's road to lollapalooza video, you'll see him rehearse with the band and give comments on how they sound.

BTS don't believe in "a scaled down" version. Each and every performance will be top tier, because they want to make sure everyone attending has the Best Experience they can give them. No 2 performances are the same, regardless if they are performing the same set list. Their interactions with the crowd are amazing! 💜

Live performances and Concerts are really something specially my favorite "Mikrokosmos". But BTS doesn't have a bad song not a single one so you end up enjoying all of them right hehe.💜💜💜

I've seen 4 BTS concerts starting with Wings before they were topping US charts and mega popular. This medley is usually in the middle of the concert. They have already performed for about an hour at this point. They're amazing live. No one sits throughout the entire concert while they're on stage. I'm exhausted by the end of the concert, it is close to 3 hours of full speed, all out performances and they give every ounce of themselves. Just absolutely amazing. They really care about their live shows. They make music by thinking about how the song will be sung live on a show like their concert. They really think about it. That's what I really admire and appreciate them. Even sometimes the songs they perform will look different from their audio songs. Suga remixes a lot of their music for concerts/performances. They are HIGHLY practiced. Nothing is left to chance - that is why they put on the best shows!! These were in Japanese, so lyrics sounded a little different. Idol is THE banger song in concerts!! It goes hard - and Jimin's center kick at the end is iconic!

As someone who's had the privilege of seeing/hearing Idol live, I can confirm that it's an EXPERIENCE!! The energy is out of this world. I hope someday they decide to release all these concert mixes. Also, I'm Mexican so I giggled at the Kumbia King reference😂 I saw them live too back in '04.

Another thing to keep in mind is that not only are they jumping, kicking, dancing, and running around and keeping stable voices, they are singing in the Japanese version and not Korean for the this crowd in Japan. They always try to sing the version that their audience at the time can relate to best. That's insane. Changing the lyrics for the fans and learning them in at least 3-4 different languages instead of having the fans just appreciate the original Korean. That's fan service at it's highest!

All of their concerts have live band and you can hear the band through the speakers all over the stadium. It is very loud and induce adrenaline throughout the whole concert. Their concerts are top notch and the audience are as equally tired as all are jumping and singing along. The concert experience is every army's bucket list

Yes they have water bottles around the stage before the show starts. For PTD LA I was on the side of the runway out to the extended stage and Hobi and SUGA looked at each other and smiled and threw water on us with opposite motions so I ended up getting splashed by both of them 😂 they just kept laughing and then ran off (on the beat to the music)🤣 EDIT: I just kept hearing the Ghostbuster movie in my head “Don’t cross the streams!!!”

How did Jimin have the energy to do those kicks and jumps? You have to realize they sing over 20 songs at a concert. They have that stamina and strength until the end of the concert! It's because not only BTS, but all professional dancers are among The Best Athletes in the World! It's like they run a Triathalon every night they perform. They have a solid core almost as good as ballet dancers. Well, Jimin does for sure because he was a professionally trained contemporay dancer. I've never seen them out of breath at the end of a concert. Well, there is an exception. If they perform when it's hot and humid...they come off stage drenched, fainting, grabbing for an oxygen mask...not kidding ...and gulping down tons of water. Their favorite weather to perform in and when they've had The Most Fun...when it's raining. And of course they are in perfect shape from hours and hours of continuous dance rehearsals and practices! Here's a good question...do they go out and party after a concert? No. However, I have seen them go workout after a concert. The last concert in Las Vegas JK would go and box with his trainer then come back and join some of the guys doing Vlives. But you won't see him eating. He doesn't eat during concerts. He fasts! Crazy! We know! But after it's over he goes and eats everything and anything he wants.

One thing which the boys have said a lot in their interviews which I really respect, is that each time different people come to their performances, and for some people it might be their only chance to see them, so *it's important for them to give it their all each time* so the performance will be memorable for those who came all the way to see them. If I'm not mistaken, after this concert, they were actually in pretty bad shape, but you would never guess it by looking at them on stage! 👍

Their Japanese songs are very charismatic and festive to audience ears. I recommend a funny and enjoyable Japanese song by Jhope and Suga's duo SOPe that is Otsukare live in Japan. It's really funto watch.

I came here to say that I DIED at 14:41 ....peak comedy, that was amazing editing. I love watching people LOVE the musicality of their performances. They literally never half ass anything! They work together as a team, not just the members but the band and the camera guys and stage and performance directors to create an amazing performance everytime. So memorable, so good, so FOR THE MUSIC. The reason why they look like they are having a blast is because they are, they love performing and its all planned, all structured, all practiced, good musicians coming together and being comfortable knowing that they are going to put out a show that will NEVER dissappoint.

You guys, I am dead serious when I say you NEED to see BTS live. It’s exactly like what you see on the screen, but with 1000% more energy! (which does not seem possible, I know!) You need to start saving your pennies and be ready for when the reunion concert happens. Purchase your ARMY bomb light stick now if you haven’t yet. Fly to another city if you have to. I did ~ my daughter & I flew from the midwest to LA just to see them. I used the very last of my vacation time from work and my daughter missed a few days of her college courses. I PUT OFF SURGERY to see these guys ~ it was THAT important to me. Spend the money if you can and get good seats ~ you will NOT regret it. I think about that concert every day, and it was 16 months ago already! I wish I could share some of my pics with you. It was such an amazing concert! Don’t think ~ just do it! Next week, my daughter & I are going to see Suga in Chicago ~ I’m so excited! This one is much closer to home, so we can drive. My husband will act as our Uber! Idol will forever be my most favorite dance choreography of all time (after Run BTS), because of how intricate the transitions, spacing, detailed steps, etc are. The fact that they move so much and do so much without hitting each other, is #lifegoals. It’s super intense and tiring for them to perform but they do it so well, making it look so easy. The high kicks and smooth transitions to highlight who is singing/rapping (always look at CENTER), is really jaw dropping. If you want to really look into the nitty gritty, watch the Idol Dance Practice and appreciate their dance skills while singing and rapping. I am just seriously exhausted just watching them. And watch where Jhope says Superhero and they all pause to show a Marvel superhero. You gotta be very observant and yet appreciate all the little things that they are to this masterpiece of a choreography.

I’m just watching at home and I’m dancing in their music all the time. I don’t walk for my exercise but I dance a lot when I heard BTS music. Idol for me is the hardest because the kick high and I can’t do it, maybe if I’m in the twenties I can probably do it. I’m 67 yrs old and I can only do the moves not the kick. I’m glad that I met BTS it helps me to forget my problems. Makes me feel good every time I listened to their music. Whether it’s Korean, Japanese or English. It gives me more energy and good vibes!
