As someone who used to live in a disgusting and messy room. These kinds of room reviews actually encouraged me to clean my own room. And I tell you, it actually helps a lot if you're feeling sad/depressed and maintaining the cleanliness is actually therapeutic. and for those who live on a messy room because of sadness, loneliness, or depression. I urge you to clean your room as well. not because it's disgusting, but because it will help you cope with your negative feelings. It wont fix your problem sure. but it will help even in a slightest positive way.

I had decent roommates in college, but I HATE sharing a bedroom with someone (single rooms cost more than shared rooms, which sucked for me). Even out of college, I didn't have my own room for about 10 years due to financial issues, so when I could finally get a place with my own room, I nearly cried. Even if I get married, I need my own space. I would sooner chew glass than not have my own space again.

Yeah I know exactly how you feel. Freshman year in university I was in a similar situation to you but I got a shared bedroom because I got a “private” bathroom shared between 4 people (yeah it was weird but hey I didn’t have to use the communal bathroom) and I absolutely hated it. Outside the fact college dorms are usually really bad, my roommate was awful, extremely messy, never clean up after himself, never took out the trash, was always up until at least 3:00 am playing video games, constantly yelling at said video games, and almost never said a word to me, like we had no relationship other than we lived together. It turned me off from wanting another roommate because of how bad he was.

Do you also agree on his BS where in his last video he claimed you can get GOOD anime figures for under $10 because that's such a blatant lie. Also it's classist. People buy funkos because theyre cheaper. If someone wants funkos its not the fucking end of the world and im tired of people shitting on others because they dont wanna spend $30-60 per figure. Like yall arent gonna die if someone has a funko. You can think they're ugly but people need to stop harshly shaming people for owning them.

@@meijelly It's kind of the point of the videos, and quality of a figure is subjective just like an opinion of a funko. I doubt he's equating Prime 1 Studios or Freeing figures to a single Funko. It's the five duplicate funko out a collection of a hundred and fifty seemingly random ones that seem to grind his gears more. Funko's are easier to get a hold of outside of Japan, so they're more likely to be collected. Not to mention, there is a wider array of varied categories that Funko has figures of (as depicted in an earlier room review with the Elizabeth II funko). This, however, has caused a oversupply in the system where funkos are being tossed into landfills like Atari ET carts. Too many have been made.

I sadly forgot to submit my dorm room. The announcement came out when I was in the middle of finals and my room was a mess (since I’m a art major there was supplies and paper everywhere) so I just didn’t get a chance. And I have only just realized now that I forgot. Next time I will submit mine! I have a nice small collection of prize figures, 2 gunpla, some cool posters, and some original pieces of art on canvas in my room (one is a painting of the owl house from the owl house). I feel like he would have enjoyed rating it. Well maybe next year if they reopen I will Ok so the only funko I have is of Milly Thomson from Trigun since I have the vash pop up parade and there is no Milly figure and I love her. So it’s the closet I can get to having a figure of her and I think it’s a decent funko.

personally I kinda gravitated to funko pops when I was still new because of how clean they look when placed together which is especially neat when ur into different genres (I only collect the pops that looks the prettiest to my eyes tho, so I don't necessarily have a wall full of it, I just have a single row) but ye I like the uniformity the the windowed box gives, cuz it's like a built in shelf. u don't need to give its display location that much thought if u don't have a budget to buy shelves or display boxes (now I've put a pause on my funko collection and mostly just buy banpresto and sega figures. I decided that I'll only buy a funko pop, if its a figure that I REALLY like. also imma take em outta the box soon to showcase their designs better. I'm kinda proud of some of em, specifically my kakuja kaneki pop. pretty cool even after all these years of collecting)

I've always felt in the minority for how many I have lol. It's hard NOT to buy them though lol the shop I get them from they're always on sale for like $6 compared to the $200+ for some of the figures/statues I have, so it's hard to turn down lol.

Still don't get the hate on Funko Pops but here's my take: "You're a western media fan? Go ahead since it's way better and cheaper than Hasbro/Macfarlane. You're an Anime fan? There's A LOT of better options my dude and some only $5-10 more expensive than Pops." They're really Cheap and Affordable tbh, specially if you only have a budget of $10-12, got a lot of them cause my aunt can only buy gifts worth $15 and under for me since 2010s.
