CDC PEACOCK EMERGER-THE DEADLIEST FLIES

This is a fly made from brown peacock herl and dark cdc feather. The fly is to match the hatch of BWO varieties worldwide. This is a deadly pattern to have in your fly box.

Just a note. I make my own half hitch tools from small brass tubing that I get at the hardware store. Cut to length with a fine hacksaw blade and polish the cut end with 600 grit or finer paper.

I hope too..... I' ll try to show you ower rivers and trouts..... My father Was not in italy but here in Pyrénnées.... But he Was fishing With an italian friend Mathieu ..... It Was in "gave d'Aspe" ... I hope you and little Bear Will have a lot trouts too this season.... I'll expect your vidéos... Amitiés

What species of mayfly are you trying to imitate. A Beatis species??

Most nymphs tend to be dark. This works well for the BWO.

I will not fish w out this fly. Sometimes I only bother to bring two or three and leave everything else at home. I've tied a thousand, for sure. And when the caddies start rising? Just cut off the tail. It works even better.
