Hey there :) in this video I hike 25 miles around St. Mary’s lake and over triple divide pass in Glacier NP. It’s another beautiful day but hail and rain hit us in the evening for a frustrating night at camp. Thanks for watching!

Unbelievable scenery . . . Like walking thru a huge salad . . . Nettles, ouch! But, the juice is worth the squeeze😜! Awesome views from the pass.

I watched day four yesteday and day five today; at twenty two minutes, my stomach turned just watching the video. One false move and my life would be over. Beautiful hiking, you are tough going up and down and far in those mountains. Best wishes.

Glad you had a good day. The morning and evening suck but the waterfalls were beautiful. Love you California Joanna

Great video, thanks for sharing it. I did a similar backpacking trip in Glacier NP last year, starting at Chief Mountain as you did. Our route was a little different and we finished at Two Medicine lake, but Triple Divide was my favorite. It's such an interesting place since at it's peak, water can flow into either of 3 ocean watersheds (Pacific, Arctic, and Atlantic.) There are only two places in the world with this feature. If anyone has a chance to see Triple Divide, it's worth the hike.

Those marmots...I guess their fur was changing color? Like, from winter to summer?

I was absolutely blown away by this video, some of the best hiking videography I have ever seen! I stumbled upon this because I am researching the section you took and wondered if it had views....boy it sure does. Great job. What date was this filmed?

Have you heard any wood knocking at night, or howls that's seemed strange?

One minute you're looking up at the mountains and the next you're on top of the mountain with the mountain goats! You are amazing. Even without the snow I would have had a 'friad of heights panic attack at 21 minutes!

@@StellaHikes my kids were watching too, and picked up on your, "Heyyyyyy bear! Heyyyyy bear!" Not that they're ever quiet, but I'm pretty sure they'll be chanting that 👍

Maybe a bear can or Ursack would have been a good choice, instead of having to spend time hanging your food.

6:43 I believe that fire was in 2002. Too bad about the rain and hail at the end of the day, but those were some spectacular views on Triple Divide Pass. 🏔👣😎👍
