Economic criteria for reservation is already there for OBC as creamy layer concept. By the way reservation is not a poverty alleviation scheme to implement based on economic condition. It is time to refresh your history my dear, frirnds...Recent Genetic study of Human civilisation research work revealed that Aryan invasion theory is wrong..To give you a glimpse of real history as per that research work, totally three Migrations happened in the Indian subcontinent. 1st one was from Africa to India, they were similar to current tribes in Andaman island..2nd one was the migration of steppes farmers from iraq due to famine..They bred with every tribe to form the Ancestrial South Indians(ASI)...Then third migration from central asia people came here again out of famine and they bred with tribes to form the Ancestral North Indians(ANI)..But before indus valley civilisation itself, ANI and ASI people started interbreeding vastly to create the genetic pool of current Indians regardless of caste or religion because it did not exist before..So every indian now has both ANI and ASI genes in him/her in some proportions..So, there is none called dravidian or aryan race or even gentic pool because there was no pure ASI or ANI, every single person was a mixture of both with diverse genetic variations..But then after christ, after manusmriti content manipulations and enforcement by certain selfish egoistic individual(again can not blame a community but an individual) such restricted breeding for around 800+ years led to limitation of variety but still there is no indian with pure ANI or ASI gene, so clearly no dravidian or Aryan race or gene really exists..And Max muller is successfully proved wrong, thanks to Genetic Study and Anthropology
